If we added on of Matter/Arnold/Mensah and two of Brown/Branch/Concepcion id be right back on board. 50 to 42 shootouts, let's ride (kidding we need a defense) but you get my excitement with those pieces.

Horton/Jojo/Moore
Barion/Carr/Chance
Branch/Ray Ray/Toney

I stated it's possible that Mario surprises us in the portal and pulls in an elite haul and makes up for the underwhelming recruiting class, but based on results so far this year in recruiting, I am not sure we are as attractive as we think we are. Especially if we are not willing to "overpay" for guys, which in and of itself is a BS talking point. No such thing as overpaying in this game, you either play the game or you don't. Some one will be willing to give your guy what he's looking for and you either get them or you don't. Talking about what we did last year in the portal means nothing as it pertains to this year.

Oh yea 100% I think they overplayed their hand thinking they could flip high school guys without paying premium. But I think they go crazy with portal additions and pay top dollar because they have to.

Yep

We gave em the rock on a couple of end arounds and the only one that was successful got called back for holding. I just threw my hands up and was like yeah this aint gonna work 🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure there's a lot of negative recruiting going on that 1. the only reason we had success was because Cam and 2. He will no longer be here, leaving a huge question mark at QB.

If we pulled that in, I'm right back to telling lies like I was right after the UF game this year. Never talked more **** to more people in my life lol

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and will wait until after the portal season but we've got our work cut out for us. Especially if we are making any changes to the coaching staff. Mario is going to need to do things he has never done before and go fast with these things if we're going to have any shot at bringing in real impact this time around.

We're in a worse situation because none of what you just stated that happened this matters NOW. Currently we have no QB, DC is in question and of course Dawson is getting offers. I'm pretty sure we are not looking attractive to any wrs right now because NO ONE KNOWS who our QB will be. Just like last yr. But I'll give it time.

If he goes to FSU, it may be because he got immediate attention and the bag was good enough and FSU meets minimum brand requirements.
It’s interesting that we have only been linked to BC qb and some OL. Makes me wonder how the transfer operations work for us.

Should be an interesting few days. We will know most everything we need to by this coming Wednesday.

you're paralyzed by the uncertainty of this moment and arrive at premature conclusions because you lack imagination.

The portal period isn't even open yet and National Signing Day is 2 months away. The right QB changes everything for us and there will absolutely be interest in Miami after having the top offense in CFB this season. A lot of fans think we need another Cam Ward next season to win 10 games without understanding a lesser QB with a better team can do the same thing.

I have no inside information, but it's way too early for you to crash out like this.
