Wisconsin accuses Miami of tampering

Some parts of that draft template document they haven’t released or been reported on make total sense, some of them I am not well-versed enough in to comment on, and other parts I have tons of experience dealing with similar aspects with artists brands media athletes etc. any competent lawyer would never allowed multiple parts kc this happen, especially the arbitrary reason up or down of payments within the terms of an agreement.

Never seen deescalation clause on performance (that would come during a renegotiation), only floors with escalation on performance.

It’s total bull****, and I would say the same thing if we find out the ACC and Miami has those aspects in as well. Any average attorney with a P/NIL knowledge would never allow that in like that

I don’t put my full background out here all the time but let’s just say the things I’m referencing involve people in town and brands you’ve never heard of as well as some of the most talent and brands in the entire world.

For those about to rock…

Thanks for sharing. Good interview.

So Heitner has already engaged in preliminary settlement negotiations with Wisconsin, and he said that they don’t have real proof of Miami tampering. Someone asked the question earlier about Miami possibly suing first for defamation for venue purposes, and I don’t think that is wise (others may disagree, but this is my opinion).

First of all, defamation is a difficult claim, particularly when you are dealing with the public figure / actual malice. But more importantly, the tortious interference claim that they are threatening us with doesn’t come into play if they don’t have a valid contract. If everyone if so sure this contract is going to fall apart, then the chances of us ever seeing a complaint are slim anyway.

One more note: Heitner said that he spoke with the NCAA attorneys and discussed an antitrust lawsuit prior to Lucas’s transfer and ensured that the transfer was legit.

Google a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. It’s usually cheap brandy, muddled orange and cherries, bitters, sugar and either club soda or sprite topper.

Wisconsin accounts for over half of all Brandy sales in the US.

If you order an old fashioned in Wisconsin it will be brandy unless you specify bourbon. Then you can specify sweet / sour which is the spite / squirt soda to finish.

I actually turned down UW for law school.

I’ve never regretted that decision less than I do today.

The worst part is they will insist that disgusting abomination is a “real” old fashioned

I thought they were always drunk on Schlitz or the champagne of beers or some other crap? What do they know?
Wisconsin is the home of Miller Brewing. So they do love their ****** beer

Sadly, Miller is now owned by the Canadians and Anheuser-Busch is now owned by the Belgians...
Miller/Coors in the US is owned by SABMiller, a South African Company. The international distribution is owned by Molson/Coors. It’s a weird deal, my sister works for them. The American headquarters is still in Milwaukee. The largest American owned brewery is currently DG Yuengling & Son.

Yuengling is also the oldest American brewery founded in 1829. Great family.

No new news today, we’ve answered all the pressing legal questions, nothing else to ***** about. Have faith, I’m sure UW will amuse us soon enough with some other questionable developments.

Facts. I live in MN and thankfully that has not crossed the border with any regularity. Brandy is fine but an old fashioned is bourbon or GTFO
