Winning is hard

It always has been. But it has just become CIS’s The New Miami or Deserve Victory for this staff.

The B1G and SEC are better conferences with more money and better teams - see also the 2 year old mega thread on how we must, at all costs, join one of the two as soon as possible.

They should not get all 12 spots, but they were always going to get an imbalanced amount of them.

Good news is we win and we go to the playoffs: Syracuse and SMU is only murders row because of Miami.

I think 1 loss Indiana is getting in. Will be interesting to see where they rank them on Tuesday

If the committee isn't punishing conference champion losers and Indiana's SOS being over 100 it's hard for them to explain putting Indiana in over Miami if we lose to SMU. Especially since Indianas claim to fame is offense and we have the #1 offense in the country...

Anyone taking this comment serious, please go talk to a doctor to get tested for ‘tism
You do realize that exact comment is made with all seriousness by many, including "expert" TV commentators, all the time. Hard to know its sarcasm given many in here ARE SEC slurpers.

Just read a quick article by Heather Dinich talking about how the SEC will be getting a 3 loss team in over a 1/2 loss Big 12/ACC opponent.

In her playoff projections she had:

12. Bama
13. Ole Miss
14. South Carolina
15. Clemson

Absolutely embarrassing to be so stubborn about the fact the SEC is other worldly and refuse to give other teams credit.

Her putting Bama, Ole Miss & SC ahead of Clemson is ridiculous.

Also mentioned how Indiana should be in over SMU because Indianas loss to OSU isn’t as bad as losing to a 2 loss BYU yet SMU has the 4 best wins between the two 😂😂 which is it heather do the wins count or the losses
Who cares what that dingbat thinks? she’s not in the college football playoff room, she doesn’t have a vote. She’s an ESPN talking head and nothing more. Lol

I will be honest with everyone I don’t care about the ACC getting 2 teams in UNLESS it benefits Miami. The only allegiance I have to the ACC is the benefit of Miami. Long as Miami is in the playoffs I don’t care what happens with the rest of the ACC lol
The only reason I care is because changing the narrative about the ACC, especially in comparison to the SEC, does help Miami in the long run.

Hubris… and for the love of anything remotely holy with the advent of sea aliens, please stop talking that B10 realignment bull****. Those ******** all ran to one conference to knock each other off every year making the “lesser” conferences much more attractive. We good where we at.
