Neither SMU or Miami should be penalized losing ACCCG assuming they end up 11-1 regular season. This will be narrative next Saturday night/Sunday morning. If Clemson gets the win against South Carolina, they’ll probably get in even if they don’t make the ACCCG.
Unless wins over tough SEC opponents only count for SEC teams.
Multiple three loss SEC teams will be ranked ahead of a 2 loss Miami or SMU. It would take a miracle.Neither SMU or Miami should be penalized losing ACCCG assuming they end up 11-1 regular season. This will be narrative next Saturday night/Sunday morning.
lol I know youre making a joke but god **** a gator fan told me the same bolded line. I was like what do you mean. we played both your QBs and you were the healthiest you would have been all year.Yep. I can see Ole Miss dropping one spot, because they played a bowl eligible Florida team close, at Florida.
Me: "Miami beat Florida at Florida by 24."
Them: "That doesn't count, because it was the first week of the season."
Me: "So, sorta like Georgia's win over Clemson?"
Them: "That's different. Florida is better now that they aren't as healthy as they were when they played Miami."
Me: "Have you ever been attacked by a swine flu carrying bear?"
the entire SEC and b10 would have to implode. they've already set it up to where either 2 loss miami or SMU are outMultiple three loss SEC teams will be ranked ahead of a 2 loss Miami or SMU. It would take a miracle.
Yea i think the winner of that game should automatically get inIf Clemson gets the win against South Carolina, they’ll probably get in even if they don’t make the ACCCG.

And according to Lord Saban that stadium is filled with ghost that make crazy things happen!Cal beat Auburn at Jordan Hare.
Exactly why Miami should get more credit for throttling UF at The SwampColorado really the only bad loss on that list. Playing an SEC team on their home turf is tough, you gotta throw the records out.

Miami had all off season to prepare for UFUiF lost to us at home, and Auburn lost to Cal at home. There is no way to spin this.
They've played very well in recent weeks. I just want to keep innperspective their entire resume, which is checkered.First unranked FBS team to win three consecutive games against ranked FBS teams.
I think 1 loss Indiana is getting in. Will be interesting to see where they rank them on TuesdayOnly way a 3 loss sec team gets in is if South Carolina beats clemson
Or texas a&m somehow beats texas then beat uga in the sec championship game
I think the committee did say they wont penalize conference championship losers.
So..what happens if a&m beats uga in the sec championship game?..UGA is 10-3 with the 3rd loss being in the sec championship..Do u put uga over 11-1 indiana?
I would because i want the best teams in and i think uga is better than indiana, and they said they won’t penalize conference championship game losers.
This scenario is unlikely tho because a&m probably loses at least 1 vs texas and uga but its interesting to think about lol
I honestly wish both could get in but they are pandering to G5 schools by giving them an auto bid lol. Kinda giving someone a free playoff win basically lolI think 1 loss Indiana is getting in. Will be interesting to see where they rank them on Tuesday
They've been excellent in recent weeks. I just don't want people to forget about their entire body of work. They’re still a good team.
Bama has now lost to vandy, was taken to mid 4th quarter by USF, score 3 points on a 5-5 team and some are still trying to get them in. They can **** right off. Plenty of deserving teams over their sorry asses. I feel good the CFP committee is gonna tell them to go focus on recruiting. They are done.Just read a quick article by Heather Dinich talking about how the SEC will be getting a 3 loss team in over a 1/2 loss Big 12/ACC opponent.
In her playoff projections she had:
12. Bama
13. Ole Miss
14. South Carolina
15. Clemson
Absolutely embarrassing to be so stubborn about the fact the SEC is other worldly and refuse to give other teams credit.
Her putting Bama, Ole Miss & SC ahead of Clemson is ridiculous.
Also mentioned how Indiana should be in over SMU because Indianas loss to OSU isn’t as bad as losing to a 2 loss BYU yet SMU has the 4 best wins between the two which is it heather do the wins count or the losses
we need UF to do well for SOS. it just sucks that it wont help us land hanks but it is what it is.GT beating Georgia would be great for us...
I hate seeing Florida do well, but it does help us out
