Winning is hard

3 of the 4 SEC teams that we’ll be told this week how tough the SEC is and a 3 loss Bama is better than a 1 loss team from any other conference.
ESPN has already started that narrative this A.M. WTF, happened to strength of schedule and losing to teams with a lesser or losing record. The whole ESPN narrative is BS geared towards their agenda. Which is driven by the SEC. Saw that smug Cuck Finebaum making excuses and work arounds for the playoffs. Man, I would love to throat punch that pencil neck mfer. And so, the 3 loss team talk has begun. At the expense of a 1 loss team. Can’t wait for the 4 loss excuses to start next week. I’ve said this before, A.I. technology works wonders in medicine and the rest of the world solving complicated problems. Certainly it can decide the 12 best playoff teams. Just sayin’

Just read a quick article by Heather Dinich talking about how the SEC will be getting a 3 loss team in over a 1/2 loss Big 12/ACC opponent.

In her playoff projections she had:

12. Bama
13. Ole Miss
14. South Carolina
15. Clemson

Absolutely embarrassing to be so stubborn about the fact the SEC is other worldly and refuse to give other teams credit.

Her putting Bama, Ole Miss & SC ahead of Clemson is ridiculous.

Also mentioned how Indiana should be in over SMU because Indianas loss to OSU isn’t as bad as losing to a 2 loss BYU yet SMU has the 4 best wins between the two 😂😂 which is it heather do the wins count or the losses
I just read that crap and was stunned. Didn’t see he wrote it until now. Makes sense.

She also tried to suggest we didn’t have a pathway to lose the ACC title game and make it which now makes even more sense

Man, UND's dominating win over Army continues to demonstrate beating ACC Teams, Service Academies at neutral sites and those paid for MAC schools at home is the true validation of "Playing like a Champion!"...Err, strike that last part please.

Lincoln for all that is unholy, strike them down in the Coliseum and save us all from the Teos...
It's just shameful the free pass Notre Dame gets year in and year out! Shameful!

it's weird because heather used to be an ACC beat writer, now she's like a scorned ex gf

Agree with the sentiments, But AI can still make the same mistake as those all-knowing ancient "BCS Computers" back in 2000 and we know how that turned out after they put Miami at #2 one week, and #3 the next.

Anyone think Heather gets bukkake’d at SEC media day?

The answer is still...

WHY NOT :neonu: S?

There isn't a juggernaut team in 2024. If you get into that playoff, you can win it. We have the best QB. The best offense. Just enough defense to get the occasional stop.

Only team that can stop the Miami offense is the Miami offense.

Multiple three loss SEC teams will be ranked ahead of a 2 loss Miami or SMU. It would take a miracle.
It won’t take a miracle. Sankey out there arguing for sec title loser shouldn’t be denied a spot and that theory might apply to others. Sec title could have a losing team come out with 3 or 4 losses.

I’m personally confident that if Miami and SMU get in to title game barring a massive blowout both get in now. And I didn’t feel that for weeks. Plenty of others do to

And yes if Clemson beats South Carolina with Miami beating Syracuse there are plenty of scenarios now that didn’t exist Saturday morning where Clemson gets at large

I’ve watched every Boise game. They might not even beat unlv in their rematch (assuming Nevada win for unlv Saturday) for mountain west.

Still a lot to do but imo Miami beats Syracuse cfp 90%

Who cares what the Talking Heads at ESPN think my friend. They don’t mean ****, they don’t have a vote in the college football playoff, and they are not in the room with the members of the playoff committee. Don’t let it get you mad because they have no power in this, they are just Talking Heads and nothing more.

Colorado really the only bad loss on that list. Playing an SEC team on their home turf is tough, you gotta throw the records out.
It's tough to play a lot of schools on their home turf. Don't fall for that sec bull****. And just a quick note for you, Texas and Oklahoma just got into the SEC, and Texas is having no problem dominating that conference. If the SEC is so amazing, how can a BIG12 school come in and be on top in their first season??? 🤔

They will have to admit that the SEC is off this year now. They may soften that message but it’s the topic of the week now and it happens to be just as the season is ending.

ACC needs to back it up by winning at least 1 and hopefully all three of its ACC/SEC rivalries this week. I'm especially counting on Clemson. But man it would be glorious if GT and FSU beat the dawgs and gators.

Already trying to get 2 loss teams to jump us.

Of course our head to head with GT is the only thing that matters.

Not our head to head with UF or the fact that UGA has TWO losses And BOTH of them keep looking worse and worse. If Miami gets jumped by a 2 loss team after we win out, that's just setting up to keep a 2nd ACC team out of the playoffs.

I'll be rooting hard for GT next week.

It'd be nice to have 1 1-loss ACC champ (us) and 2x 2-loss ACC teams (SMU and Clemson) so we can get at least 2 or 3 teams into the playoffs.

Except Miami looked way better against Georgia, another common opponent. And Florida was missing half their team.

another underrated thing is a lot of the actual good teams laid eggs yesterday

seeing bama or ole miss in the playoffs was not something i wanted to witness personally

seeing penn state, another ACC team, texas and UGA (both with up and down qb play), or Tennessee is a lot more appealing

UiF lost to us at home, and Auburn lost to Cal at home. There is no way to spin this.
Bingo.... Vandy to Georgia st, Miss st at home to Toledo, ark to ok st this argument that the bottom of the sec is better than everyone else's garbage is just as much a lie as anything
