But his staff is horrible and we keep getting outcoached in all the key areas. So I don't know what matters besides getting a coach who's experienced and can put together a good staff. Easier said than done.

Best we can hope for right now is Diaz cleaning house besides Rumph, taking over DC duties and hiring a leader as OC who can put together a staff and doesn't make nonsense playcalls.

He went for 2 down 8 and I'd like to see the analytics that say to that. Ours may be a special case cuz Baxa is special, but outside of that how are the percentages of going 1-2 on 2 point plays higher than going 2-2 on XPs

Because the goal is to win the game, not tie it. You drastically increase your win probability by giving yourself a chance to win in regulation.

All of them run modern spread offenses.

All of them 4-3 attacking defenses.

I like Dykes mainly because he has been a HC at the P5 level before so he shouldn't be overwhelmed his second go at a P5 job.

All I want for once is to have a fun modern offense to watch that isn't followed up by a historically bad defenses.

Only way this works. Manny walks away. Blake gets gone somehow. Hire a REAL AD. Hire Urban (would not have believed I'd be saying this a year ago). REAL AD and Urban would clean house. Change everything. Build it right yet win early on in spite of total rebuild. Croots would flock here. We need a no nonsense HC backed by a REAL AD and others. Yes, it's gonna cost many pesos.
