Who said he sucks? I just believe Garvin is better than him at this point. Jackson exhibited no discernable pass rush move last night, he has to improve.

This. While I don't love what we've seen out of Richt as an OC, it's tough to overlook this and not think well **** if we had a QB who could complete 60% we might have something here.
 
Does Richt lose the locker room and fanbase completely if Rosier starts next game? I say yes. At least get the team a little hyped by trotting somebody else out there under center.

No one said he sucks. He just is overly hyped.

The same with Ahmmon. I'll give him an excuse because he has the injury bug but a "First round talent" doesn't get over-powered by a DB playing in his first game.

What DB playing in his 1st game over powered him? And i disagree joe is over hyped. Nobody said he was a top 10-15 pick.
 
Right may have been a great coach for the football I watched in the 50,s. He seems lost in the offensive football world we live in today . Even those early fifties teams I watched ran more different plays than I saw last night
 
Small example of leaning too much on vets. When Richards went down, we replaced him with Langham. LSU played Langham tight and didn’t respect the speed outside (Cager was also on the field).

Eventually, we adjusted and started playing Harley and Thomas together along with giving snaps to Njoku. But we reflexively went with experience instead of talent and fit.

Absolutely at this point. Rosier has been trash for far too long. You already see it with the WR/TE getting frustrated because they are getting open.

What changes would be made though? Lil' Richt gone? Are we hiring an OC? Is Searels being replaced? Do we bring someone in who knows what they're doing on STs? Seems like everyone that's in place besides Banda, Patke, and Manny have some sort of ties with Richt that I don't think he'll sever just yet.

I don't think Richt would let Manny go and if he does, I already have a theory of who the DC would be and I know our fan-base would hate it.

New QB, new punter, Manny shown the door, Hire an OC, Hire a special teams coach, move donaldson back inside, never put knowles on the field again...Just a few things.

You can't be serious about Joe right? He's been receiving "first round talent" praise all of this off-season from our fans.

By the time UNC rolls around I expect to see more Hall/Carter (Knowles), Hightower/Pope/Njoku (Langham), Nesta (Bethel), Ivey/Frierson (Dean).

Not only did we get completely out coached but we were out talented due to our illogical rotations with sub-par players.
 
We’re pretty bad. That’s the honest assessment. It’s going to be a death struggle all year because all of our problems are still all of our problems.

We can’t be the sort of team Rick wants to have. It’s pretty obvious that our system is a horrible fit for our QB, RBs and OL any time we face a good team. I’m concerned frankly that the game has passed Rick by. I’m totally certain that if we took the same guys on our roster and handed the offense to a Kendall Briles or a proven guy from that tree we would be infinitely better.

As for D, I’ve never even sold on Diaz and still ain’t. Diaz always looks his best once the other team gets ahead by 30 and tries to run out the clock. There’s no better DC in the country down by 30.
 
All juniors have regressed big time.

CMR needs to re evaluate what the **** is going on here.

This is a make or break year. But anyone who has forsight can see we have major problems. Top to bottom this team needs to be re evaluated and whole sale changes need to be made.

You guys are nuts if you think all of sudden the OL will block or the DL/LBs will have gap integrity.

The staff has had enough games under their belt to show what we are. Tape and stats do not lie. We the same team we were under Shannon and golden..... but with slightly better players.

That wasnt fulton 1st game. He is a junior. He was suspended last year. And i said nobody said top 10-15 pick. There are 32 picks in the 1st round.
