Where we go from here

We are not a top 10 team in talent. Stop it. We have areas where we are top 10 and areas where we are a middling ACC team.
Agreed. He lost me there. Top WR and RB units. Everywhere else, especially at our perceived strengths, doesn't have the depth/talent to make such a claim

DE- Garvin showed potential and that's pretty much our thing, potential. Joe is as I feared quite average if he's not schemed the right way. Non-factor outside of a bull-rush. Look at how Nick Bosa, a predicted 1st rounder, disrupts plays. Patchan and DJack are good backups. Rousseau is a freshman. Good depth here but no undeniable talent.

DB- Jaquan is Jaquan. Redwine, for as much hype as he got this offseason, is exactly the same. Dean is horrible, MJ is MJ, and the underclassmen are green. Why does Knowles have a scholarship?

Nothing is going to change because Richt has chosen to lie about how great things are rather than face the fact that he has made ALOT of bad choices in his evaluations both in recruiting and in whose on the field.

He either faces the fact that Rosier sucks or that he and his son have done horribly in evaluating the QB position or he goes on with this illusion he’s trying to sell that Rosier is head and shoulders above the others as he’s preached all summer.
Wanna take bets on which way he goes?

If Malik Rosier is the starter next game we will know that MR has decided to stay stubborn and this program is in biiiig trouble.

Because Richt isn't a next level coach. It becoming more and more apparent that Richt only wins game from having more talent. When things are equal he folds, badly.

The only way Richt wins a championship as a HC is if we have 2001 talent and that aint happening. I'm finding it hard to separate the difference between Coker and Richt. They both feel like the same **** on the field coach.

I PROMISE YOU now that UGA fans are objectively looking at what Richt is doing here you couldn't pay them to take Richt back despite what they tell you how much they love Richt. UGA giving us Richt is like giving your little sibling a hand me down toy. You loved that toy when you use to play with it but you know it not better then what they currently have now (Kirby) . UGA got a new toy that will have them competing for championships while we have a toy that is better then what we use to have but is only good enough for 8-10 wins and occasionally conference championship appearances.
Yesterday may as well have been a week after the Orange Bowl. This is the same team as last year.

For all the criticism about Rosier not playing with urgency, what about the coaches coaching without urgency from the second the Orange Bowl ended last year? It was clear as day this team needed a ton of work after we got lucky in multiple games and struggled for all but 2 games in the regular season and yet Richt sat on his lazy hands and kept things exactly the same. Pathetic. Dunno how you can ever trust a guy like that.

This is a great post. On point

Exactly - we have to see 3 things

- True Freshman take over (OL, CBs, etc.)
- Play all QBs and potentially start a different QB vs. Toledo or FIU
- Bench Feagles

If he doesn’t do any of this, more importantly 2&3 were in for a long torturous season

Problem is we seem to have players who either think or have been told they’re better than what they are in reality/production. Add to the fact we apparently don’t have a tremendous way of getting useful data from greentree, and we’ve got ourselves some **** to worry about.

Which players?

Garvin > Joe Jackson

what really worries me , worse than Oline, worse than Rozier, worse than a vanilla offensive scheme
worse than awful coverage in secondary is once again against a top notch opponent we get physically dominated
on both sides of LOS.
evaluate S&C program why is Clemson, Wisconsin & LSU able to dominate us in the trenches, we lack explosive strength in all areas
develop a package for Kosie where he gets significant playing time starting next week.
completion should start at every position and be a weekly guide to who is getting after it and wants to play.
get Thomas the ball 10+ times a game, give Hightower significant snaps.
Oline cannot play any worse start rotating in young guys now.....
evaluate entire staff, player development really seems to be lacking
need more $$$ for staff as well. Aranda gets 2.5 $ and Venables 2.3$ at Clemson
insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results

There's no question, you look to the guys you're counting on as the future of this program and you play them next week.

You put Hall in the rotation at S so he can learn from JJ, etc.

QB, you pick the guy you know is the future, and you let him run with it against Savannah State.

The portion highlighted n green. THIS.

Not only does Malik Rosier suck ****** balls, he does it while acting "too cool for school". Even if you can't help being a trash QB, you CAN help showing life, and being a vocal leader, keeping the players engaged and active, having a sense of tempo and aggression about you as a ****** VET LEADER that the other players can follow.

But NOOOOOOOO. This guy wants to both suck *** AND saunter around like he's at a ****** jazz club and its no big deal that he is consistently TORPEDOING OUR DRIVES, GAMES & SEASONS. The ****** audacity of this clown to be both BAD and NONCHALANT at the ONE POSITION you simply can't have EITHER of those things. Get him out of my FACE.
BIG BIG BIG FACTS 🎯🎯🎯🎯 great post, this ****ed me off the most last night!

Watching other offenses and it baffles me how/why we can't run similar plays. OSU started Haskins in first start and none of what he did in that game looked difficult, granted it was against Oregon State. 73% 315 yards and 5 TDs.
