Where we go from here

Well last nights game totally dashed all my hopes for this season. Time for the coaches to really look themselves in the mirror and make the changes that need to be made. Is playing "experience" over youth with upside really worth it? Time to stop playing scared. Yea the young kids are going to make mistakes and get beat from time to time but thats the only way they are going to learn and get better is with real game time experience. Experience is the best teacher and the worst experiences teach the best lessons.

Rosier, Knowles, Mahoney, Jones, and Dean are straight JAGs and should never see the field for us again. I tried to be really optimistic and have faith that Rosier can make improvements but last night proved same ****, different season. I dont want to see Rosier's *** out on the field for Savannah St. Let the young bucks play and see what they do. The next 3 games are perfect games for the young guys to get a lot of reps. I am personally a believer in Weldon and think a lot of people sleep on him. I would like to see him get a chance to lead the team..But honestly at this point I will take anybody that doesnt have the name Rosier on their jersey.

Because Richt isn't a next level coach. It becoming more and more apparent that Richt only wins game from having more talent. When things are equal he folds, badly.

The only way Richt wins a championship as a HC is if we have 2001 talent and that aint happening. I'm finding it hard to separate the difference between Coker and Richt. They both feel like the same **** on the field coach.

I PROMISE YOU now that UGA fans are objectively looking at what Richt is doing here you couldn't pay them to take Richt back despite what they tell you how much they love Richt. UGA giving us Richt is like giving your little sibling a hand me down toy. You loved that toy when you use to play with it but you know it not better then what they currently have now (Kirby) . UGA got a new toy that will have them competing for championships while we have a toy that is better then what we use to have but is only good enough for 8-10 wins and occasionally conference championship appearances.
CMR can recruit better than Coker..

My only question @DMoney is did you forward this to the staff? I'm honestly asking because I'm not sure they get it. No way rosier should have been allowed to ffinish the game. I'm sure everyone noticed the same nonchalant attitude from rosier that we've always noticed when has to turn it up a notch but never does.

I'm not mad at you guys for endorsing the product because I truly believe they looked amazing going against each other but **** vs **** can do that.

Where do we go from here?

We endure another 5 years of mediocrity and sunshine pumping from the CiS guys until the WEZ has finally had enough and start the banner air force again.

Unfortunately Butch Davis the God won't be a viable candidate by then.
Brother thats not gonna help anything. Staff doesnt need to go. Just needs to be passion & accountability injected in everyone from the ground up. This team can be great if we see things for what they are & address them. We have plenty of talent. It just needs to be streamlined & held to a FAR higher standard where everyone knows fvckin up this team will not be tolerated. If it was me in that locker room Malik would be in a 1984 olds cutlass trunk somewhere in mexico city until this season is over. This is where the real leaders need to step up & say well if coach ain't gonna cut this cancer out I will. You either improve & be part of the solution or throw yourself down a flight of stairs till something snaps...

That's a pipe dream with Rick as HC.

Just like @UMFarArcher said in the other thread:

"Richt is not hungry. Richt is comfortable. He was comfortable at Georgia. Now he's comfortable at UM."

Rick is just using this job as a cushy retirement package for he and his family. Fvck him and his laissez faire choir boy *********.

I stayed a few times that jahair Jones shouldn't be on the roster as well as Mahoney being a starter was odd to me. They've never exhibited any shimmer of hope even at greentree much like Knowles who is an absolute failure. When bandy got tossed I told my group we ****ed and if lsu didn't exploit #6 their staff should be fired by halftime.

The problem isn't our players.
Troy beat LSU. At home!
Our problem starts at the top and spreads down from there

The transitive property only works in math class. By your rationale, Miami should have won last night, because they crushed Notre Dame last year, who beat LSU. See how that didn't work?

Couldn't have said it any better...
Get Rosier the **** out of there. I can live with a loss from someone who gives more effort. That guy is ready to run every play, waits till the last second to throw, over throws the reciever everytime and plays with no heart. He's not a leader in a leading position on the football field.
The bigger problem here is why he always overthrows these recievers. That begins & ends with jon richt. Cause it's all in his mechanics & it's not only a game time issue. Anyone who knows football knows he short arms his throws. Doesnt follow through & that 9 out of 10 leads to the ball sailing. How are you a paid staff member & dont address this...

Why is Diaz getting so much heat? The defense didn't give up the pick 6. They held LSU to 6 pets in the second half. They hurt themselves with some untimely and questionable penalties for sure. But other than the fact that we are substituting LBers and secondary way too frequently (see 50 yd TD run) I thought they did ok on that side of the ball. If our offense can't score 30 a game who's fault is that?

When you have arguably the least knowledgeable fanbase in college football, stupid takes like "It's Manny Diaz's fault Malik Rosier is pure crap" take root. Joe Burrow was a sub 50% passer for most of the night last night. Outside of one big chunk play, LSU wasn't running downhill. The problem is that Miami's offense was nonexistent for 3 quarters. No team outside of the 85 Bears and the 2000 Ravens can overcome such bad offensive football. Miami needed a COMPETENT QB last night, not even a star. Just sufficient quarterback play to win, and they didn't get it. The D did all they could. This isn't on Diaz by a long shot.

A coach can address it in practice until he goes blue in the face, but if a guy isn't mentally there, it doesn't matter. Rosier is a one read QB, and he reverts back to awful mechanics whenever he feels any kind of pressure. Some guys just aren't good. Malik is that guy. He should have been a career backup, but got the job because other people were mouth breathers or decided to leave early for stupid reasons.

Our problem is deeper then that.

We got 2 play caller who want to be the smartest guys in the room. Both think they are capable of putting top rated offense/defenses on the field and it becoming more and more clear with every decent opponent or every .500 team we struggle with that they aren't good. They are average at best. They are both overrating their abilities to call a great offense/defense consistently during a game/season and they refuse to bring anyone in who could challenge their line of thinking. Both will consistently have our offense/defense 40th or worse.

No amount of passion will fix that kind of problem.

He got the job and kept the job because Richt the talent evaluator and Richt the recruiter and Richt the talent developer all suck at their jobs. Rosier being our best option is a direct indictment if Richt’s roster management , which last time I checked is a big part of the job description

^^^ This right here I didn’t understand why was Ahmmon on the sideline all game ??
In a perfect world the beat writers for this team would get the skinny on the severity of Ahmmon's "injury" that kept him from playing the rest of the game. However, I don't trust the glorified stenographers that cover this team any further than I can throw them.
