Some? Preston Dewey, Gray Crow, Jontavious Carter, Dwayne Holliet, Figs, Jawand Blue. Davante
Bond Ryheem Lockley and Derrick Griffin. That's just off the top of my head from those two classes.

Dude has some really nice film. I think if speed is any issue you move him to LB. I actually like him as a LB more then I like Wilder or Jennings from what I saw on their film and they are LB's.

Outside of DL the defensive recruiting is odd. Three strong safeties and two OLB's with very limited film, if at all, about Jennings or Wilder in coverage. Steed comitted to the last staff and is an all-around LB. I get the identity Manny Diaz is going for, but there isn't a lot of versatility there.

Jennings is excellent in coverage played 7v7 with Pro-Impact most know very few LBs play on these elite teams as they play Safeties at LB in 7v7

Say what you want the last staff had Shaq, Bruce, McCloud, Joe Jack, Richards, Mullins and Allison committed. Don't cherry pick. Just look at the recruiting rankings and tell me you see a difference

I have absolutely nothing against this kid, and I'm glad the staff is working. I think this pickup would be fine if everyone weren't so salty over JJ. Having said that...

There was a girl in my HS he high jumped 5' 4", and my best long jump was 18' 6" in 9th grade. I stopped jumping because I could tell I wouldn't reach 20'+ which is what was winning most of the meets. I can assure you nobody was recruiting me for D1 anything. From what I'm hearing, this kid is a good football player, but I don't think we need to spend much time going over his track results.

The offer sheet is for mostly 2nd tier schools and the track accomplishments are pedestrian at best. Did this kid go to a Nike and run. If he is going to be used as a WR then heck stay with Dingle for sure. Dingle played in bigh time competition all the way through the state championship.

Jesus, did anyone watch that tape? He seems to have great range, athleticism, and tackling, while being huge for a safety (linebacker size). Seems like a solid SS. Rankings aren't everything.

Current Blue Chip Ratio is 8/22 - elite classes are at 50%. Y'all can fight me and others all you want, but you don't beat FSU and Clemson by replacing 4* prospects that are rated top 50 at their position with 3* kids that are barely top 100. You just don't. If we want to be elite and we are taking 30 kids this class, the next 6 to 7 kids out our 8 commits need to be blue chips. We would need to close with everyone we are targeting to finish at or near that magic number.

I looked it up and 1953 was correct in those track stats. Would be interesting to see if he did the testing at a Nike Combine.
