Yeah as much as everyone wants to play all the comparison game **** Florida is up on Kentucky(for now) and we dog walked Florida’s. Someone else said it too the ball state team we obliterated was close with vandy who beat bama. Anyone can win on any day. Our defense being sub par is frustrating but more so because we actually have an offense…

There's nothing to suggest Louisville is all that good an offense except their game against our defense.

UM: gave up 45 points to UL

GT: gave up 31 points to UL
UVA: gave up 24 points to UL
SMU: gave up 27 points to UL
ND: gave up 24 points to UL.

The only teams that allowed more points against Louisville than us were Austin-Peay and Jax State

We gave up more points to Louisville than any other P4 team.

Two things can be true at the same time:

1. We have possibly the best offense in college football that can win us any game we play.

2. We have a bad, bad defense that has given up more point to in-conference opponents than any other team in the ACC. We are 17th out of 17 teams in points allowed against in-conference opponents.

Btw Georgia Tech didn't give up 31 points. Haynes King threw a pick 6 and there was a block FG for a TD. So its even worst that Louisville offense only put up 17 points on them

Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia all have defenses that could probably hold us anywhere from 24 to 30 points. With our crappy defense, 24-30 points would not be enough to beat any of those teams.

Tennessee? Just beat Bama and haven't given up more than 20 pts to a team yet.

It's still a bit sloppy, but we have 5 more opportunities in the regular season to figure out how to play our best football.

I like that we upped the tempo and had a little more commitment to the running game, but I still think Dawson/Cam play greedy at times; there needs to be more pocket movement and check-downs to keep defenses honest and stay on schedule. I think there is a more effective level of execution for to the offense to achieve and believe we will get there, because the best way to help our defense is to control the rock and score TDs.

We are inconsistent offensively and undisciplined defensively, but still find a way to win each week; that means something. The teams posters panic about matching up against are playing better/their best ball, but we haven't yet and don't have to worry about playing them any time soon.

I'm more concerned about our organizational processes and intensity of practice during the week than players' only meetings, but we have 2 months to work on getting better.

I'm watching the replay, and noticed when we play zone players aren't looking at the QB
