Was 2017 the start of the Dark Ages for FSU?

He does this type of posts all the time. So the “why” by now is self-evident.
David Duke must be so proud of you!

Must be sad to be so blind and hateful that the world looks so distorted to you.

Truth is, Willy was hired because they made the mistake of thinking he was some recruiting and offensive wunderkind. They weren’t trying to social engineer anything.

If anything, despite FAMU being practically next door, the trustees and people that made the hiring decision I guarantee you are far from racial progressives.

I don’t think he’s very good coach, but I’m glad they didn’t let race be an obstacle from hiring who they thought would be the best person for the job, no matter how misguided that decision may end up being.

Point is, his hiring had nothing to do with race, and I don’t think there’s any reasonable person no matter what side of the political spectrum they’re from, that would even think that.

Jimbo was a great recruiter and same with his staff . lots of 4-5* stars who were not developed by a staff that was heavy on recruiting skills not so much on coaching skills. FSU will find away to pay off Willie but there is trouble in Tally as the booster club does not per se report to school and they are at loggerheads indicating more trouble in the panhandle

I don’t know how else to put it, it is just a really dumb post.

Also why even interject this bullshlt in here?

@OriginalCanesCanesCanes truth hurts sometimes.... there was both internal and external pressure on the AD to higher a black coach. accept it or not, it is a fact. Taggart was a sup par coach before fsu.

Exactly. This idea that he was hired because of race stems from the former AD, who hired Taggert and then bolted, publicly stating that he wanted to make sure that he interviewed people of color for the position. Because the AD was a black guy who hired another black guy, it must have been a "race thing," right? Despite the fact that the majority of AD's are white men who hires other white men ALL THE TIME! No one says, oh, that white guy hired the other white guy because he's white!

Saying that F$U, which is located in the panhandle (one of the most racist areas in the entire state), hired a black coach because he is black, is absolutely comical!

Crazy how far AND how quickly they have fallen

We should know better than anyone how fast that can happen. I wish them at least a decade of misery. At least.

It won't be sweeter cause F the Noles but when this happens to Baga it's going to be glorrrrrrious.

Yes. FSU is going to probably find out the hard way you don't just walk into a Bobby Bowden for 20+ years followed by a Jimbo Fisher for 7,

They will see what it's like having to go through 4-5 years of idiot coaches. I don't think they will be as bad as long as we have because their school and boosters care about the football program but they will struggle to get back to even Jimbo fisher level of success. They're going to regret treating Jimbo as a replaceable coach.
