USC guilts Matt Thomas into sticking with his plan....

Give me an example of a local kid ever we have signed that didn't take official visit? It has never happened.

The official visit is the most important part of the process.

Robert Lockhart, DeQuan Ivery, and Jawand Blue. All within the past two years. Just off the top of my head, and confirmed on their rivals pages showing no visit date. Pretty ****ing far from 'It has never happened.'

Negged.

Only Jawand Blue didnt take a visit off of that list. Lockhart and Ivery both made officials

Yah. You're right.

Still, if I can think of a guy who didn't visit, and he signed last year, I'm negging the dude. Pretty confident I could go find some other kids throughout UM history who committed without an OV.

Thomas is making a visit here, just maybe not this weekend. So what the **** are we talking about?

Fine bro, I don't keep a spread sheet either, but lets just bet that its not that many. Like very few. I'll let some of those with better memories educate us all on the past to address my (somewhat) rhetorical question.

Why use up 1/5 OV's on a school a few miles from home is all i'm sayin.
Happens all the time.
Idk ask Tracy Howard

i will. Maybe Tracy Howard will tell me how great his Official Visit was the weekend of Jan 27 2012 to MIAMI was:

The latest on Tracy Howard..
-As reported the UM visit went very well..
-Howard was really impressed with UM coaching staff & all the love he got from other recruits..
-UF coaches are not feeling good after speaking with him on Sunday night.
-It's now considered a 50/50 battle between UM & UF..

sorry bro hate to let facts get in the way, want to try again?
I was talking to ball not you I spy, my point is that OV make difference and can help convince a guy like tracy

Wish we had some local kids like Duke in this class. Too bad the primadonnas grow on trees in South FL

Man that's some weak **** right there. Thomas is a primadonna because he hasn't made a commitment to us? That's bull****.

1: of course a recruit not taking OV is a bad thing. don't let orange and green glasses fool you

2: however, until he's on that plane, we can't be sure he won't be there. no way Al and Mario let 6 not take OV to Miami.

if it means planting one of Eddie's guns on 6's luggage, so be it.

GET 6 to visit Al!!!

Ok, there's one.

correct me if I'm wrong , but he was a via tech verbal who at last second got offer as a plan b type who jumped on it.

which would be much different then someone not committed choosing to take final ov somewhere else IMO as far as possibly reading tealeaves.

There are kids like Duke in this class. Stop with the nonsense.

We have LOCAL KIDS in this class who have been committed since Day 1 and have gone out of their way to publicly recruit for UM? Offered their jersey number to another recruit? Please, do tell who they are?

So unless you get a one a million type kid like Duke, you are a primadonna?

It's the biggest choice of their lives up to this point. Un****ingreal.

He owes *****in and USC NOTHING. It's odd that he'd be "guilted" into anything like that. Did *****in hire a ****** mother as his recruiting coordinator? Makes no sense.

At first blush, I agree with you. But, these snake oil salesman types excel at this kind of thing - strong-arming kids to do their bidding. Even a hardened kid from BTW. Very few kids are able to tune this stuff out and resist it, imo.

sorry bro as i don't keep tabs, but the point is that he has been here and seen the goods. if it was a tampa/orlando/etc kid who hasn't been on campus at all or as much it would be a bigger concern.
