"Upward trend" - Latest Vish/Sebastianpub Analysis

Why does the Miami media not kill him with this? Would love to see Al with the NY media...

Because the only one with any guts (this Vishnu dude) doesn't have access to him. All the fluff-peddlers with access to him are cowards who are content lobbing soft balls and not axing follow-up questions.

he sounds like a guy who wanted the job and wasn't confident they would offer...or they flat out told him they are going in another direction...I don't buy for one second that he turned them down.

He may still be waiting for an answer, but he couldn't go ghost today. So he whipped up some bs like he did with the stats that are trending upward and threw it at the wall. His slupers have bought it hook line and sinker.

He's convinced the clowns who still think he's a viable HC that he's pumping soft-serve ice cream from his butt into their mouths. They think they're eating a delicious Dutch chocolate frozen treat instead of poo.

The only thing Al will say even if they did ask tough questions is "We're not where we want to be" and "we're working our tails off to get this fixed" and "and again, it starts with me" and he'll also blame "the cloud"

Breh...I WISH someone would make copies of this and throw it in Golden's face.

Why? He'd blame the players for not executing. Coach D'ip**** would throw the players under the bus saying they missed assignments. We've heard it all before.

I assure you all that those stats he recited were the same ones he offered during his interview when asked about his cringe-worthy defense. Dude used the same notes from his interview prep for his call with Rose. I think there is still a chance that he's gone. I'm holding out hope based on his half-assed response to questions about the PSU interview -- no vehement statement of commitment to UM or anything resembling that.

The only reason Al isn't facing the heat Shannon faced is because he's white and spins a better story than Shannon did. That's it. There. I said it. Deal with it.

Al is worse at his job overall, but he's still got the majority of Canes fans sucking him off. Really pathetic.

Al is obviously sticking with dorito for next year despite him sucking baby kaka. That's his choice. I've made mine too. Win the ACC or get the **** out.

Al has decided to ride and die with his staff. He will get no mercy next season, so he better get it done.

Exactly how I see it. He's yet to really address the Ped State deal other than that "I'm not a candidate" double-talk statement. He's still waiting for an offer.

Or because he has improved his record every single year (despite NCAA mess & lack of talent), been offered multiple HC positions at other major universities & has been a great PR guy for the school... Either one.

Sometimes, the questions are more important than the answers when you're trying to make a point.

we just like to complain.. is the defense where it needs to be? no. was it improved over last year? yes. Did i think the defense played well early in the bowl game? yes. but they couldn't hold up for 4 quarters, especially with how bad the offense was.

How did the defense improve?

were we not better in a majority of statistical categories? If so, that's an improvement. People seem to forget that golden and Donof put out a solid defense their first year here when our defense had better, more mature players than we've had the past two seasons... that's probably not coincidental.

No. We did not improve statistically. We regressed in conference play.

#qualifiers... i'm not nit picking games.. over all, for the season, we improved from the previous season.. we were still terrible, don't get me wrong. But no scheme is going to change our defensive front..

Golden said recruiting class and returning talent did factor in his decision in not making coaching changes. #UM

It wasn't a solid defense, it was OK/mediocre at best. It was the worst defense we put out in last 10+ years going into the 2010 season.
