Yup. We better be down right disgusting...
lots of threads on NFL & Talent missing....
shut up or go away year....we had better be nasty this year
idk what information or factors were missing on when were fielding back to back WOAT defenses in cane history?
this will be the 4th year with golden and doritos D if we aren't at least top 40 and actually look like we have a pulse on D golden is sealing his own fate to lose his career with his dumbo butt buddy
the biggest factor is that having the U on the side of the helmet doesn't automatically make your more talented/better than what you are.. randy crushed it with a bunch of 2-3 star guys.. and then we're wondering why we're terrible when our seniors and juniors on D were 2-3 star dudes and some guys al golden was able to cobble together in a few weeks when he got the job.
The very fact that he had to address this, (his boulschitt aside) tells me that the HEAT IS ON!
The Administration is feeling the heat, the AD is feeling the heat, Golden is feeling the heat, and that damned D'Buttsquirt is feeling the heat.
And if they think it's hot now? Does anyone really think Petrino is going to do poorly against D'Buttsquirt?
like i said, our fans lack perspective. And so rules the University of Miami Athletic Director Blake, as Miami's Defense is ranked 89th in total defense in 2013.
Yet, Warren Sapp has made his feelings about Miami defensive coordinator Mark D’Onofrio very clear:
"Don't talk to me about Al Golden and whatever that D-coordinator's name is," Sapp said, according to the NFL.com. "Al Golden, let me tell you what I've learned in the 19 years of being around the NFL ... you don't ever hire someone that you can't fire. That's the golden rule. The D-coordinator is killing my school. That looks like no Miami defense in the history of our school, even when [Howard] Schnellenberger was getting it started!"

Miami ranked 89th in total defense in 2013.While Sapp has no problem weighing in on the Miami staff, athletic director Blake James said on Monday that he’s fully confident in Golden and the current staff. James said it’s Golden’s job to evaluate the staff -- not his -- and he is not questioning Golden’s decision to retain D’Onofrio in spite of criticism after a season in which the defense finished No. 65 in the country in scoring defense and No. 89 in total defense.
“I evaluate our head coaches,” James said in a recent interview with ESPN.com. “I don’t think it’s the position for me to do anything other than evaluate Al. Al’s got to evaluate what’s best for him, and in our conversation he has full confidence of the staff we have in place and fully understands what we need to accomplish going forward. He had my full support, he has the full support of our president and board, and fans are always going to question things. A lot of times they don’t necessarily have all of the information and don’t consider all of the factors that go into challenges or when things aren’t going as you’d like them to go.”
Miami lost four of its last six games in 2013 and allowed at least 41 points in each of those losses with the exception being a 36-9 loss to Louisville in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Some have questioned whether Golden’s friendship with D’Onofrio has impeded Golden’s perspective, but James said he still believes in his head coach’s vision for the program.
“I’m fully confident we’re going to be a lot better,” James said. “I believe in Al’s vision and I believe given the talent that we have in this area, and given the cloud of the NCAA investigation and the unknowns of it are gone now, just knowing the class we signed this year, but as importantly knowing the individuals that we were in conversation with that had interest in the University of Miami -- now maybe they all didn’t pick the University of Miami -- but I’m confident we’re going to see great young men come into this program and help us in our rebuilding process.”
“You have to look at the plan that’s in place and how that plan is being executed, and if you believe in that plan and that person that’s doing it, you’re fully committed,” James said. “That’s where I am with Al. That’s where we are as an institution with Al, and that’s where Al is with his program. There aren’t any questions here.”
The University of Miami just had two of the worst Defenses in SCHOOL HISTORY in 2012 and 2013 but the fans lack perspective? Unreal.
All the chips are on the table this year. Al needs to put up or start firing underachieving staff. D line and DC are the weaknesses that need to do a 180 this year, or heads must roll.

They really think we're idiots that don't know anything.
More excuses from all involved, and predictably, the uneducated fans eat it up like a hot load of **** off a plate.
The morons desperately grasping to Golden will be standing around with their mouth's wide open as this season crumbles, the same way they did with Coker and Shannon, wondering where it all went wrong. You'd think they would have learned a lesson from the last two coaches that a problem exists when you have more excuses than quality wins, but these are not smart individuals we are discussing; they never learn. The columns will crack, the walls will disintegrate, until all that will be left around Golden is rubble. Nowhere to hide. No excuses left to make. No hashtags left to tweet... No clouds in the sky. Just his performance.
For the few remaining dimwits, until we finally reach rock bottom, they'll continue failing to see what's in front of them, instead choosing to anxiously scarf down the litany of excuses and clichés being thrown at them by anyone inside the Hecht like a good group of sheep. Sadly, these excuses are nothing more than life rafts attached to a sinking ship.
So, rest in peace to the loyal idiots going down with this vessel. So simple and stupid you fall for anything and can't think logically -- letting a fat hack in a sausage casing he passes off as a blazer captivate you with waves of bull**** and excuses. Luckily, things won't be all bad, because even after our team sinks this season, you still have that million dollars coming to you from the prince in Nlgeria you allowed to use your bank account, you gullible dipshlts.
It's true I don't have all the information, but I'm absolutely positive that the Yugo was a real piece of siht.
