UF Injuries Thread

For all you Canes out there who are wishing the best for our arch rivals do you know any noles or gators who were sympathetic the past couple years when the NCAA, the media and pretty much every human being in America who wasn't a Cane wanted to stick a needle into our arm and push the button?
Those fuuckers hate us. Truly hate us and wish us nothing but torment.

So, we should cry for them?

I don't think so.

Yeah, you're right. Leave no one alive. Kill them all.....

I understand why some hate him (NCAA crap) but I think your logic is flawed. I refuse to let another mans (or fan base) ignorance change my core beliefs. Meh... To each his own.

I wouldn't say ignorance. Ignorance would never be a catalyst for a personnel paradigm shift.
You see, we old school gator haters don't hate them out of ignorance.
We hate them out of pragmatism.
Through decades we've seen them, and with our experience we have come to an enlightened truth: the Gators are scum.

So you can't hate them without rejoicing at their injuries? That's one step away from just trying to injure them outright. Just stroll out to practice and start stabbing cats.

You're an intelligent poster. I'd appreciate an intelligent response.

No

I'm sure those who have played sports and have had multiple injuries are much more remorseful to other players getting injured. I've had my share of injuries playing all kind of sports and they suck, never wish an injury on anybody.

Actually that sounds like a great idea!

I'm actually wearing a shirt right now that says, I Love Cats, They Taste Like Chicken.
It's my Chinese Buffet Shirt.

My reasons for hating the Gators are personnel. Maybe it all started decades ago when a Gainesvile cop gave me a defective vehicle ticket for having a Hurricane license plate holder. Maybe it was the flop. Maybe it was the time I played a twilight threesome with Spurrier and Lon Kruger and watched Spurrier foot wedge it for 18 holes in a money match. Maybe it was the gator fans chucking oranges at us in the 1980 game. Maybe it was the 2008 game.

Brother, the list is long and endless but I think the main reason for my disdain for them is their fans.
Just classless. I live in Los Angeles now, and occasionally go to the Hooters in Burbank to watch the games as here they never show them. The Burbank hooters is officially a UF hangout and you've never seen a more classless bunch of obese trailer trash in your life. They throw insults at me and the waitresses tell me they tip like Shiit.
For my whole life I've seen these same Gator fans acting the same way. The UF alumni must be so proud.
I'm not saying Miami fans are all polite and respectful.
Heck we aren't even polite and respectful to each other, but compared to gator fans...,well, there is no comparison.

Glad to see some of fans have class. It's wrong to wish injury on others.

What about a guy who was a star witness in the Shapiro allegations to the NCAA?

That's a ***** move from Debose, but as a fan I won't be wishing injury on him. If our players wanted to do something about that, then that's one thing, but it's a whole nother as a fan.

It shows weakness to live your life based on the actions of others. Also, there's no need for you to exaggerate. No one else is hoping FSU, UF, ND, or OSU go undefeated. There's a huge difference between cheering for someone and not wishing injury.

So, when you are watching the Miami/Florida game and Denzel is getting ready to pulverize Driskell and you scream out, "kill that ************!" What are you wishing for then?

Well ****.....LMAO that issht ws funny right thurr

Getting hurt and injured are two different things.

I would never want to see another player get any kind of injury but especially a significant injury. I know how much time is put into rehab and how frustrating it can be having to come back from it. That's just me.

They've had 7 WR's in the past 2 classes, 5 in last year's alone. They've included the likes of Demarcus Robinson, Ahmad Fulwood, and LaTroy Pittman.

Debose going down helps us, but it gives one of their younger guys the opportunity to step up, and sad to say--they do have some potential talented guys in the wings.

Look at it this way--if (Haysoos forbid) Rashawn Scott went down in camp for us, we would all be obviously bummed out, but would be ready to see a guy like either Jontavious Carter or Stacy Coley step up and be an explosive option in his place.

I think we're in a better position to lose a guy at WR than they are. On top of that, a monster rivalry game like this in front of a full house isn't the place you want to hoping for a new guy to step up.
I agree. I'm just saying that they're not bringing some geek off the street who doesn't have potential off the bench to take Debose's place.

We could afford a loss like the one I pointed out, no doubt, but they're not bringing a 5'10/200 white dude who runs a 5 flat 40 time like me in to take his place. The 3 kids I mentioned are talented and were pretty highly recruited...specifically Pittman and Fulwood.

I would still rather have a talented true or RS FR on the field against us on 9/7 than Debose. No argument from me on that one.
