Debose had 3 catches last year...this is no loss to them IMO

Actually, that's the point. He is one of their best returning WRs. That just shows how bad their WR corps is. He's also the 2nd all-time leading kick returner in SEC history average wise, and is tied for the lead in SEC history with 4 kickoff returns for TDs.

They've had 7 WR's in the past 2 classes, 5 in last year's alone. They've included the likes of Demarcus Robinson, Ahmad Fulwood, and LaTroy Pittman.

Debose going down helps us, but it gives one of their younger guys the opportunity to step up, and sad to say--they do have some potential talented guys in the wings.

Look at it this way--if (Haysoos forbid) Rashawn Scott went down in camp for us, we would all be obviously bummed out, but would be ready to see a guy like either Jontavious Carter or Stacy Coley step up and be an explosive option in his place.

Yes because they have been spending all offseason talking about their great depth at WR just like we have, right?

I think we're in a better position to lose a guy at WR than they are. On top of that, a monster rivalry game like this in front of a full house isn't the place you want to hoping for a new guy to step up.

Hate UF but thought Debose was a player, sucks to see his career never panned out. Hope he makes the best use of his Degree. Hate injuries, ugh..

are jones and driskel expected to be healthy for us? are they suspending morrison?

Really hate to see this... I was hoping he could stay healthy & put together a solid senior season.

I was hoping he'd win the Heisman this year and catch the game-winning TD pass against us. I'm classier than you guys because I don't care that he was a rat against UM, and I actually wanted him to beat UM. All I care about is the happiness of these **** kids. That's how goddam classy I am. **** shame that such a great guy from such a great school went down. I'm inconsolable right now.

Your right, people are sleeping on the fact that they will have to start a freshman WR, that probably isn't ready for the bright lights in week 2. Then if that starting freshman WR doesn't work out, they will probably have to put in another freshman to replace him. We have went through the growing pains of starting a bunch of freshman, now it time for them to do the same thing.

Glad to see some of fans have class. It's wrong to wish injury on others.

What about a guy who was a star witness in the Shapiro allegations to the NCAA?

I'm pretty certain Shapiro was the star of the Shapiro allegations.

Then Wright.

Then the kids who told on themselves.

Then, perhaps, Dubose and a host of others.

But you're right. He should have had his career close with the honorable discharge of a doctor's visit.

Who said his career is over? With some good rehab, he'll be catching passes from Jacory on a CFL practice squad in no time.

I translate all that and I still have the same guttural reaction to misfortune for our enemies: FUUCK THEM!

For all you Canes out there who are wishing the best for our arch rivals do you know any noles or gators who were sympathetic the past couple years when the NCAA, the media and pretty much every human being in America who wasn't a Cane wanted to stick a needle into our arm and push the button?
Those fuuckers hate us. Truly hate us and wish us nothing but torment.

So, we should cry for them?

I don't think so.
