He Is better than the duke qb. He can make plays running but isn’t that good of a passer he struggled throwing vs this defense last year. He would start at clemson right now too there qbs have looked terrible

This is where not signing your big time QB recruit of the future this past cycle really sucks.

We’re already going heavy youth movement. Ideally you’d just turn it over to Rashada or somebody and then go all in on 2024 when these young guys now have a year starting/heavy playing time.
 
Lmao it's gonna be a crazy 10 days. How long is Miami gonna get bodied by legit programs?

I could imagine that rather than coaching his team and discussing why they are behind at halftime this season, Deion will be out recruiting in the hallway during that precious 20 minutes to try and get key opposing players to flip to Colorado.
 
This is being leaked by Drew or Bama. It doesn't make any sense coming from the Miami side.

At the same time. Its info about a kid in school. I'm sure he's told guys like X and asked him not to say anything. Rumors spread fast.

As mentioned, I would love to see him try and leave FSU, see what would happen. If he did leave, unless he gets his undergrad, I think he would sit out a year/RS and have one season left.

This is why we should’ve taken a transfer QB earlier. There were veteran QBs there for the taking. Hopefully Mario & UM have a plan if this does happen.

It’s terrible timing. If he leaves, good luck getting a legit WR out of the portal. Need the QB first - that’s reason #1000 why leaving now totally f^cks us.

But I’ll wait til it’s a done deal. Either way, TVD has lost a ton of respect and trust from this fanbase.

trask just recently went 2nd round cmon man lol. Book from nd was asś and went 4th round. Mac jones isn’t mobile and has a noodle arm and went 1st round

Not being in Miami, I wouldn't know but just what are the players receiving Life Wallet NIL $$ doing for Ruiz. Are there billboards on the highways, local TV commercials featuring these guys' names and likenesses selling that product? Is there any visible ROI to Ruiz and his business?

But why go one year bandaid?

I always kinda thought TVD didn’t make much sense for next year.

Cristobal ran off Manny’s experienced players. He didn’t load up in the portal.

All indicated that he wasn’t playing for next year. He was going to go young, let his high upside guys take their bruises, and then turn them loose on college football starting in 2024.

But TVD probably wasn’t going to be part of 2024. So then we’re breaking in the most important position while we are suppose to be starting the run.

The young QB of the future always made more sense for next year than TVD.
 
College football is hanging itself. Call this for what it is: Professional Football. Separate the haves (professional teams mostly SEC and Big Ten Schools) and have nots (Mostly Big 12, ACC and PAC 12 with some of the other schools not in the power 5). The haves will get all the players that want/can get NIL money. The others play on teams that can’t afford to pay their players. It would make both leagues competitive amongst themselves.

I personally believe Miami is a tweener. Somewhere between big time and the rest. It sucks, but that is reality. Before NIL, it was all about the facilities, now that we have or will have the facilities it’s about the size of your collective. The goal posts keep on moving on us and I am afraid we cannot keep up regardless of the who is coach, AD or in charge of players evaluation/development.
