him leaving is wrong on so many levels.
1) he played poorly last year and its not all on gattis.
2) he is the leader and the face of th program. you don't leave the program in the lurch when you are supposed to be the guy.
3) ergo he isn't the guy,
4) if you are good you can get drafted from a mid major. have some stones, play better and you will be drafted thus see (3).
5) we probably will be ok with a portal guy but its a bad look for the program to lose the face of the program.
6) this kind of thing is a terrible look for college football and if this continues its going to hurt the game a lot.

The expectations are higher at Bama right now and Saban is more demanding of his QB having leadership skills. FIRST GAME BAMA LOSE THE FANS would turn on TVD and death threats would come. A rabid Bama fan poisoned those trees at Auburn. They are a different breed.

I think it’s more Saban knows he’s losing 2-3 games with Milroe at QB. Which for Alabama, is unacceptable.

He can’t throw consistently yet.

I think you are overestimating the draw that Miami is for certain positions. The reality is that the only portal WR/QBs that would even consider Miami realistically are kids from sofla originally or kids that only care about NIL. This limits the pool significantly. Look at what has happened with the WR position the past year.

If you start at a lower level or switch between levels you pretty much can even without that. Either way transferring at least 50% or more of the amount of time you are in college is insane and very possible which is the point.

That’s fine, TVD has a decent NIL deal. I did say we’ll have to pay in my previous post, but that shouldn’t be an issue.

What’s hilarious is since 247 is monitoring it now…how is there no discussion of tampering lol. It’s like blatantly in front of you that he’s not in the portal and yet everyone is confirming Bama is after him and had discussions.

No point in crying about it because everyone does it, but man are there real double standards.

I said this last year and people were up in arms saying it was all Gattis' fault. Now that tvd is the bad guy they will agree, lol.
