I don't know, honestly. The coaches did a lot to protect him at Tulane. He was good, don't get me wrong, but he was in a run first offense that had a 1,400 yard RB. Tulane ran for over 200 yards a game. He wasn't asked to throw it 30+ times a game, and rarely did. Tulane had very good WRs in Mario Williams and Yulkeith Brown too, which helped him.
All that to say, I don't know how he'd look in Dawson's offense. Maybe he'd be fine. He is talented, obviously, but the coaches protected him this year for a reason. Part of it was he was a freshman, but part of it was they didn't think he could go out and win games on his own.
Now, with all of that said, I'd take him over Jackson Arnold in a heartbeat. Arnold can barely complete a forward pass.
