Some good news that increases our chances of landing Mensah
Mensah would be my #1 target as of now. I like him over mateer
Arnold is who u go with if u want emory to start, i was high on him from hs but people ignoring he got benched for a true freshman
Tate I get, he was young, dumb and chasing hot tail. Castellanos quit I think because he lost his starting spot, right?
I’ll never forget 247 had Aidan Chiles who never played a game rated ahead of Cam Ward last year.90 247 Portal rating, #4 QB, #29 overall currently
former 5 star QB and Lloyd Carr’s grandson CJ Carr is next up apparently.Pretty sure Riley was a 1 and done. Looking at their roster seems like they will be in the portal for a QB again. Not much on their roster behind Riley. Seems like they lose a lot from this year’s team.
I don't know, honestly. The coaches did a lot to protect him at Tulane. He was good, don't get me wrong, but he was in a run first offense that had a 1,400 yard RB. Tulane ran for over 200 yards a game. He wasn't asked to throw it 30+ times a game, and rarely did. Tulane had very good WRs in Mario Williams and Yulkeith Brown too, which helped him.
All that to say, I don't know how he'd look in Dawson's offense. Maybe he'd be fine. He is talented, obviously, but the coaches protected him this year for a reason. Part of it was he was a freshman, but part of it was they didn't think he could go out and win games on his own.
Now, with all of that said, I'd take him over Jackson Arnold in a heartbeat. Arnold can barely complete a forward pass.
Yes because the offense still sucked and it wasn’t his faultAfter a game or two right? I remember they let the other freshman play

I agree but everyone saying they want him dont realize they are kinda indirectly saying they want emory as well. Why would we get another qb who is a lil more experienced but still not really proven to be goodYes because the offense still sucked and it wasn’t his fault
Not Jackson ArnoldMensah vs Jackson Arnold.
Who we taking?
I’m just curious where is he going? East Carolina? Charlotte?are we sure Dawson will be here next year?
How does that change/affect the type of QB being looked at?
Because he is more talented than Emory and has better tools to work with. Nobody wants to go back to having a statue in the pocketI agree but everyone saying they want him dont realize they are kinda indirectly saying they want emory as well. I would take him in a oregon dante moore situation
East Carolina and Tulsa looked like the logical spots and both filledI’m just curious where is he going? East Carolina? Charlotte?
Idk if he 'put it all together' vs bama.Ehh. I dont know. Something holding me back from giving a resounding yes.
There are a lot of wide open passes in those highlights.
I just keep coming back to Arnold. Oklahoma had literally nothing around him. His only horrific game was against a Tennessee team that can really get after the QB. South Carolina was similar. Kid was running for his life in almost every game. But really seemed to put it together against Bama.
I feel like he would be a good filler between Ward and Nickel because Nickel has the same type of game...arm, speed, build, etc.

I was watching Tulane but apparently Sumrall is sticking around.
Haven’t really seen a thing about Dawson linked to anything
