Would you not say that some folks can drink heavily and perform well at their jobs? I don't care if the guy is a drunk. If he can score 40 a game then let him drink vodka out of the Gatorade bottles.
If we score 40 a game after scoring 18 a game he can drink vodka out of the vodka bottle and wouldn’t even need to brown bag it

Should be the next OC. Mods you can merge somewhere if needed. Im fully sold. If Mario is serious about scheme change, this is our guy!

-5 years as SA/GA under Kliff at TTU.
Last 3 years was assistant QB coach to Mahomes (who praises Kittley).

-First OC job comes at FCS Huston Baptist.
Where he develops this unknown QB named Bailey Zappe.
Bottom 20 offense when he arrived
Top 10 offense when he left (averaged 32PPG vs 3 FBS!! opponents in his final year - 2020)

-Hired by WKU to be OC in 2021 (First year as FBS OC)
#2 nationally in PPG & YPG, Bailey Zappe breaks NCAA record for yards and TDs in a single season (First year as FBS OC, think about that).

-This past season he was the OC for TTU (First job as P5 OC)
#27 in PPG (34) & 22nd in YPG (461)

I mentioned him a couple of days ago as an interesting option. Not my first choice or the sexiest name out there, but he is building quite the resume and could be an exciting choice. And Mahomes swears by the man.
Yeah the praise Mahomes has giving him was the first part that sold me. I agree not the sexiest, but he is the guy that would turn our offense around. Dude averaged 13 more PPG with FCS players vs FBS teams then Gattis did this year.

Never heard of him - but I don’t follow coaches closely. Sounds very intriguing. Very good research and outside the box thinking compared to the common names mentioned/recycled. Good post OP.

Side note: I would think this is like 20,000:1 longshot though for the same reason @htownkidd said.
