I am not saying he is gone after year 3. I am just saying that seat is going to be pretty **** hot.
Nah, not really.

OK just because there is literally nothing else to talk about.
If the conspiracy theories of Mario waiting for the Super Bowl to be over...here are a couple of "Joe Brady-esque" names
David Girardi- Pass Game Analyst and Asst QB's
Kevin Patullo- Passing Game Coord (went to Western @Coach Macho )
Philadelphia Eagles

(hopefully me taking the time to look at their staffs, Mario can ruin it all the time but announcing the hire seconds after this post)
Im at the point that Id rather it be Nuss than a middling candidate. If its Nuss, I can jus let go and walk away easily knowing Id be wasting my time following this program. Otherwise I will trudge through more years of mediocrity.@Cribby Please tell us it won’t be Nuss
I’m just guessing in hopes there is a disinformation campaign in progress. Cribby gets real information….I missed him saying candle was offered. I trust Cribby more than any other.Unless I am mistaken or misinterpreting what he wrote, Cribby has said multiple times that Candle has an offer from Mario.
Candle isnt worth half the amount of **** sucking we seem to be doing to recruit him. Im not going to speculate on timelines since I dont know, but there has to be a point in the courting where Mario has to have some pride and sound the alarm that maybe the fit isnt there.
Even in corporate hiring, there is a point where pulling teeth to hire a particular candidate is detrimental to the goal. Of course you want whomever you grade as the best. But there should be an element that said candidate should be excited about the opportunity and not pushed into the pool (a little dancing and negotiating not withstanding)
He’s in no man’s land. We have an offensive minded head coach and a pretty young OC ahead of him. Kinda like Whipple when he was with the Eagles and that’s why he came back to college. Thanks for your solid input, TOC!
Brain fart on my part forgetting Johns.
Brian Johnson, to me, is headed in to bigger things in the NFL, as an OC, if I was a betting man. But ya never know. Maybe he wants to be a college HC and being a solid OC at Miami would certainly help. But like I said, just throwing a dart at the board with a blind fold on.
Regarding the obsession with Candle, in business or in life (obsessing over some girl that keeps passing on you, like ******* Jenny with Forrest. **** that *****!) it rarely works out for the better.
Candle is not that good to be obsessing like this over him. If anything, I think Candle would be his down fall because I just don’t see it with Candle.

If for no other reason than if they don't like it here, they'll be gone in a year and may not give it their all.I'm with you. I like some of the NFL guys like Brian Johnson, but it's hard to predict a jump (I thought Campanile was coming too).
But locking in on an indecisive candidate is problematic at best.
This is legend.
This explains why Mario is taking all day
SIAP but Johnson would also explain Mario's alleged conversations with Mullen.
WR smoke is ColeyIgnore me if its been mentioned as I've only been paying attention here for 2 days now.. but assuming the OC coaches QBs - a good option for WR coach will be Adam Henry from Indiana. He's been with the Cowboys, Browns, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, and at LSU. Coached OBJ, Landry, CeeDee Lamb, etc.
Tons of connection to the staff:
1 - Played 1990-1993 at McNeese State - same exact time frame that Lance Guidry played there
2 - Coached at McNeese State from 1997-2006 - Guidry was there from 2000 to 2003. Henry recruited several players from Guidry's HS programs he was coaching at from 1997-1999.
3 - With the Cleveland Browns in 2018 and 2019 - same exact time frame that Alonzo Highsmith was VP of Player Personnel.
Obviously there's also some overlap with Doug Nussmeier in Dallas - however, talking to Nuss could have been a way of vetting Henry for our staff as well and had nothing to do with Nuss as OC.

You could come to Miami and turn around one of the worst offenses in the country , while having a very good qb that’s stock is down. You’re playing with house money. 1-2 years of success and you’re a college HC or NFL OC.
Lashlee went from one of the worst jobs in America to having a pretty good college HC gig close to his home.
This job is the definition of buying low and nowhere else to go but up
