What makes this all the more incredible is Mario is spending 18-20 hours a day working and analyzing and still can't get through it. It's not like the guy is on a 40-50 hour work week. Factoring in time for eating, making a decision on what to eat, using the bathroom, making a decision whether he needs to go to the bathroom, deciding which UM shirt to put on, that is probably about 120 hours a week he has spent not making a decision.

so why couldnt be this be done before he signed an extension and while we were waiting to fire Gattis formally. seems like this could be handled earlier and just formally announce without having the dude sign an extension w his own team

Who cares? His buyout went from 750K to 900K. Who cares about the extension? He had a deadline from the ****head AD at Toledo.

If a buyout is not an impediment, I don't see how an extra $150K and slightly newer copier paper makes the contract any more imposing.

so back to the main question, why couldnt this be done in lock step with the formal firing? plenty of time to do so. we just seem to be pretty inefficient in terms of getting staff hired and fired, but well see if candle really is the guy. i dont believe it anymore till its announced with OC rumors esp from a guy who said no last year

also that AD at toledo played it smart even if candle does take the job here. hes getting an extra 150 for doing basically nothing other than sending a new docu-sign w an extra year
