The Meathead Did It Again

This loss will do more for this team than winning it . Came at a perfect time now we tasted the sourness embrace it let it fuel you .

Now it’s out of the way it’s a relief we all knew new was coming now let it leave and move on and run the table.
If it works out this way and was a wake up call and suddenly stuff starts clicking… great. We’re going into a bye and they can use it to fix things and let the loss marinate and get ****ed off. It could play out like that.

Maybe it does for the offense but I’m 1000% convinced there’s absolutely nothing you can do for the defense.

The team was not ready to play today. Offense was sleepwalking for most of the game.

Mario let Key bend him over again. No pride or preparation. After losing that game last year to these jabronies, this was the game that we needed to come out with our hair on fire. Instead, we looked lost and confused for most of the game.

Not kicking at least 2 field goals and an extra point cost us the game, and the wasted TO was a killer. How are you not ready out of a GT timeout for a possible fake punt? Specially against a team that traditionally throws the kitchen sink at us.

Cam missed seeing open WR’s down the field repeatedly, and held the ball way too long. At some point you have to tell him as the head coach to take the check down.

Guidry needed to be fired yesterday. Terrible job once again. 6 games in a row where our D can’t get pressure on the opposing QB, can’t tackle, can’t cover, and have busted coverages galore.

Dawson isn’t exempt either. We wasted so many downs on good drives with stupid WR screen calls that would go for almost no yards.

Mario is always good for 1 or 2 bad losses. It never fails.

My final verdict on Mario is now in. If he can’t win with this QB, he will NEVER win a natty.

Now the countdown begins to the next 5 or 6 years, when we will hopefully be able to replace him.
Mario ****ed up not helping the Defense during the offseason. The lack of talent at DT, LB and nearly the entire secondary is alarming. Anyone with a clue saw the secondary being in serious trouble. Once again, the staff took mid players like Richard, Hill and Powell, while missing on Ponds, and it backfired. The way it’s looking now, next year the overall talent will be any better unless a drastic change happens.

You can blame Mario if you want, but what do you want him to do when his “Heismen” qb refuses to throw to his check down and holds the ball way too long? Unless you’re suggesting he bench ward, how do you think he can force ward to take what the D gives him?

With respect to the defense, yes it’s atrocious. However, short of firing Guidry mid season, what are you looking for?

At the end of the day, we were in a position to win the game on a game winning drive, but our “star” qb fumbles instead of throwing to his check down. I don’t blame Mario for that

We’re being more and more exposed each week, whether we win or not. The blueprint is out there.

Lashlee is going to do unspeakable things to this defense.

I said this in the game thread lol, I’m an Eagles fan so I know the deal. That said I don’t like passing on points when you know it’s going to be a close game. Every point matters. You can’t coach every game and situation the same , Mario hasn’t learned that still.
I live outside of Philly, in Jersey, Cribby. People just roll their eyes at that guy and his decision making. His players bail him out on the regular, win in spite of him, to be honest. As we say, he’s a gooveball.

The Jags game that **** left 9-10 points on the field. He better thank god for that Int by Dean. Blowing that game cooks his ***. Especially being up so huge . He thinks it’s “ swag” to be a brain dead idiot. I’ve defended him for a couple years but I’m wearing thin.

Just curious if you think switching play callers on D would help? I know Mario won't but i feel that could make a difference.

Does anyone have the clip of Mario running running down the sideline to call timeout coming out of the 2minute time out?

We are just so unprepared as a team it’s ridiculous, did a possible fake ever cross anyone’s mind?
Who the F is the ST coach, don’t tell me Smith. I don’t even think he goes to the games.

What difference is the "play call" going to make when we have guys in position to make plays but they're either too dumb or too uncoordinated to finish the play?

I watched the Iggles/Jags local post game show and they have a camera in the stadium tunnel so you can see the guys coming off the field. , Siriani was laughing and high fiving like just won the Division. He ain’t right in the head.

Analytics are one of the worse things to happen to the nfl for coaches.

I thought it was fine. Dude took it personal after Louisville when he thought are team was ready for it. Blame our defense.

I do but it was in reality really bad to waste a timeout with 2 minutes left in the game down by a score and you’ll be starting the drive deep in your own territory.

Who else could call plays? The most experienced option has HS DC experience and his unit is arguably the most disappointing when you consider the talent and expectations on the DL and how irrelevant they are on Saturdays
