ACC is a Horrible conference that played their hand. They wanted a SMU vs Clemson game. Now they may only get 1 team in the playoffs...These mf's cut off their noses to spite their face allll the time with Miami. Miami shouldve been given all the calls all year....

So did ala ******* bama. I get what you’re saying but how did Alabama not do it to themselves losing to Vanderbilt and scoring 3 points against a 6-6 Oklahoma team?

Lov the third person post. As a Cane Alum I feel bad for the U collective. Yeah everything you said, let it go, your feelings. Move on, a Bowl game previews the next season, in the real world. In Mario World, it’s yet to be determined.🙌🏽

The spot would be taken by the big 12 winner in the case for the top 4 seed and UNLV would be 12. No spot left for Miami.

Yes sir. **** the ACC - I hope Clemson wins and then the committee still keeps Alabama in and sends SMU home.

Then the conference members need to put the commissioner to the fire (they won’t). But that’s where some accountability should start.

So before the OU game, they had Bama at #7 and us at #8 (which should have never happened, Bama jumping us by beating Mercer during our BYE week).

But either way, they're #7 and we're #8. Since then:

Miami beat WF bad and barely lost to a 9-3 Syracuse team on the road.
Bama, lost by 3 TDs, only scoring 3 points, against a 6-6 Oklahoma team, and beat Auburn bad.

They move from #7-#11 and we move from #8-#12.

Basically they're saying our loss to Syracuse was equal to their loss to Oklahoma.

But that jumping us during our bye week set this all up.

The TV Networks (SEC and B1G) are now officially in control. I thought those conferences would win any tiebreakers for teams finishing with the same record or at least the same number of wins or losses, but winning less and losing more gets you a spot?

Might as well just decide the field based on preseason projections because it’s all about perception
 
We can whine all we want it’s not changing the ranking. Wheels were set in motion years ago when ACC got bent over by the sec and b1g when setting up the playoff.

Cristobal choked again. This is 3x now. 2019 his Ducks blew a game to a bad ASU team and ended up #5 and outside playoffs. The infamous kneel game. And then blowing a 21 pt lead.

I said this would happen when he was hired and like all my predictions, it came true. Batting 1.000 isn’t always a good thing.

That’s a great point. Did we deserve to get in over Bama? Probably. But at the end of the day, we did this to ourselves

well, the facade has been drawn. They got what they intended from the start. The only spot they could manipulate the rankings to get it was at Miami's expense.
