The bottom line on the Yahoo story...

It's obvious Hurtt or Stoutland is the snitch.

i would put the bank on Hurtt

The Herald article correctly list Sean “Pee Wee” Allen’s as the snitch.

No, it says "Golden, hired by Miami in mid-December 2010, had direct knowledge of Allen's improper involvement with Miami recruits, according to a former Hurricanes athletic department staffer and federal testimony given by Allen in Shapiro's bankruptcy case."

Also, "One former Hurricanes staffer told Yahoo! Sports that Allen was used specifically by members of Golden's staff as an "off-the-books" recruiter. As part of those duties, the staffer said Allen kept tabs on Miami-area kids, including making calls about their recruitment, and on some occasions, supplying improper transportation to and from campus that aided Miami in its efforts to gain a commitment from some prospects.

Allen "was directed to call those kids and would have never done it without the coaches pushing it," the former Hurricanes staffer said."

I dont think they would refer to Allen in the third person if he was the former staffer. Someone has an axe to grind.

Miami has been bracing for additional allegations, and was aware earlier this week they were coming. In an email obtained by the AP, university president Donna Shalala told trustees Thursday that "someone who had a low level position at one time" was expected to allege that Miami assistant coach and former NFL player Micheal Barrow committed recruiting violations. Shalala said it has already been investigated.

Where's that from...and is there more of it?

Robinson has a serious axe to grind with Miami. Look at the timing (isn't the ACC media day coming up), all the sensationalist journalism, all the outright fabrications that he had to edit in the 1st article. Robinson probably didn't get the journalistic praise he thought he was going to get from the 1st article so he won't stop until he's proven "right." He has a hard on for Miami.

Apparently Allen "arranged" for their entry and night out. Supposedly Allen paid for Chick's entry, drinks and entertainment.
