There are no must gets in HS recruiting. Most everybody thought that of Cormani, now a walk-on at UF who probably won't last the season. There are plenty of other examples.

They won a national championship 5 years ago. So when these kids were 12, 13 they were watching Joe Burrow ‘nem smoke cigars in locker rooms. DJ Pickett was watching us score zero (0) points against a technical community college from Louisiana in a bowl game on like December 9th in a city with 3 stoplights. Yea, it’s different.

Grant is Tony's son?

As mentioned Ty’s son. He is also HS teammates of Tylon Lee an Edge we were recruiting this cycle but ultimately backed off in favor of Herbert Scroggins. Lee ultimately committed to UCF.

Ty is their coach and bought both Grant and Tylon to Miami a couple of times this spring.

Grant is gonna be a national recruit next year.
