We have sucked for 20 years while LSU has competed for multiple championships over the same time period. It’s not even close at this point.

Look at the top 10 in recruiting rankings the last two years and ask all the fanbases of other programs and they’re like “how the **** is Miami in there?”

Since 2017, LSU has had:

4 double-digit winning seasons
1 9-win season in Orgeron’s first year
2 conference championship appearances coming out of the SEC West, the hardest division in all of football
2 NY6 bowl wins
1 SEC Championship and 1 Natty

The other two seasons of 5-5 and 6-7 resulted in Orgeron’s firing. They don’t put up with mediocrity.

And a national championship in 2019. They were down last year and maybe even this year but LSU does NOT have as much to prove, thats just silly.

If we win 10 games it doesnt give us bonus points against these other teams. What it does is take off the handcuffs and give Mario a change to recruit on equal footing. IF that happens... Lookout for the U going forward

Reading the tea leaves with @DMoney post, but the connections with Coach Joe at UM and Coach Powell at Utah, also his respective position coaches, are pretty strong and will weigh heavily in the decision. Landing three five stars talents from Illinois in a span of 2 years would be a feat. Hope they close here.

Louisiana kids are super loyal to that place, polar opposites of SFL kids. Also, he's seen LSU win a title not that long ago. Miami hasn't won since I was in first grade
