You can't have the worst D in the ACC yet lead the country in QB pressures. We have one of the worst defenses in the ACC after three of his classes.

I'm optimistic.
Well considering they're going to get monkey stomped in their next game I hope he sees the correct path to take.Issue is that Hanks is a very tough flip because of the legacy and if UF somehow wins a few more Billy will stay and I don’t think he will flip. With Pickett difficult to read and Merritt seemingly on his way out that DB class goes to very average if you can’t get Hanks/Pickett to add to what we have committed. This room needs a full rebuild so it can’t just be one solid player in Stubbs and a few other developmental players.
This is what he does every cycle. He says our class sucks and we're in trouble only to be smacked back to reality when our class signs. LOLIn what predicament exactly
It was concern about him dipping for the sec from the time he committedIts rarely that simple lol
2 classes. This is year 3We have one of the worst defenses in the ACC after three of his classes.
Yea, because this team reflects elite recruiting and we have no holes anywhere. Spot on analysis jackass. This is what he does every cycle. He says our class sucks and we're in trouble only to be smacked back to reality when our class signs. LOL

This, watch UGA cover and tackle in the secondary, night and day difference.Hope they’ve realized that settling for Marshall and Vanderbilt castoffs at DB is not the way
They need to be as aggressive there as they have been in at other positions

So, like every team in the nationLot of misses unfortunately
I fall into the same trap as everyone else on occasion. You pointing this out with numbers is a good thing. We have played some really good offenses. But it's like I said, if you listen to PESN's announcers, you would think we are watching the MTSU/Miami game in 2022. It's standard PTSD outside of the NPES announcers setting viewers up for 6 teams from the SEC getting into the playoffs. They have to lay the ground work for this.View attachment 308532
Listen I’m not gonna sit here and act like it’s a great defense but let’s not exaggerate
Why is Merritt and UM drifting apart D? I remember in a podcast you did over the summer, you saying that the staff viewed him as a must get and then not long after that he committed. What happened here?Miami has a loaded visitor weekend coming up, so it's time to return to the Bank:
- There is more excitement around the receiver position than at any point this cycle. I believe the success of the offense is having an impact. Vernell Brown (Orlando) and Dallas Wilson (Tampa) remain major targets. Freshmen JoJo Trader and Ny Carr continue to push in practice and could be on the verge of a breakout.
- Miami is making very good progress with Gator commit CB Ben Hanks (Booker T). He remains the highest of priorities. ATH DJ Pickett (Riverview, FL) is hard to read, as few expected him to commit to LSU in the first place. But many believe he wants to be a Cane.
- The staff is very excited about the 2026 class in the trenches. Some names to watch -- and this is by no means exhaustive -- are DT Vodney Cleveland (Birmingham, AL), IOL Breck Kolojay (IMG), OT Keenyi Pepe (IMG), IOL Canon Pickett (Tampa), IOL Ryan Miret (Miami Southridge), OT Jackson Cantwell (Nixa, MO) and IOL Grant Wise (Pace, FL). There are also some good RBs on the board, including Javian Osborne (Dallas, TX) and Tradarian Ball (Texarkana), both of whom will be in attendance on Saturday.
- I see DB Tim Merritt (Birmingham, AL) and Miami drifting apart.
- The Canes will continue to look for impact veterans in the Portal, but don't be surprised if they target DL, DB and even OL with multiple years of eligibility. They want to upgrade the talent in multiple ways.
- There is real interest in USC commit Shamar Arnoux (Carrollton, GA). They see him as a versatile DB with size, hips, and physicality. He is visiting this weekend and it will be an opportunity for all parties to learn more about each other.
I don’t understand how you guys don’t see, that Emery does not have the required arm strength to win a championship here. Flat out and that’s it, there’s no arguing that. Also, he has no athleticism. Smhsurround Emory with talent and let him cook.
It's always you.Me or these keep getting worse?
That stat is misleading as UF, FAMU and Ball St keep that number low right now.View attachment 308532
