coaching on D this season is the main culprit behind both losses.

ATD. I see it as a contributing factor (up-tempo offense certainly didn't help as well). We are slow & stiff on the back-end. Depth is embarrassing. How Mario didn't address the personnel issues there this off-season might be his most egregious crime yet.. and that includes GT!

Guidry was trash. Fire him. I just don't think it solves anything. Problem goes deeper than that.

Meh. If he had Ward he’d have won 10 games as well. As a matter of fact, he might still win 10 games this season with Malik Murphy , who can’t throw a forward pass. Wouldn’t that be something. Diaz in year one at Duke , Lashlee in year 2 at SMU, and Cristobal in year 3 at Miami all finishing with 10 wins. Good showing by Miami coaches.

Even with Cam, to me this 10 win season was painful. So much drama, from coming behind vs Duke, Louisville, Cal, VT - The wins outside, what, UiF, USF and Ball State weren’t even enjoyable.

Nothing is easy with Mario and that’s not even counting the previous 2 years.

Imagine losing vs Cal and VT and not getting lucky in those games?

It will be difficult for us to out-talent the top teams so we are gonna need to get coaches that can elevate the talent we have

We’ve routinely been on the other side of the fence when it comes to that so we know what it looks like

End of the day we are still sitting here *****ing about not being considered the 12th best team in the country

Manny is at the right place at duke. I’ve had enough of manny after 7 years of work here. I like lashlee a lot I didn’t see us trying for a third time hiring a coach from a failed regime.

I want to see next year tbh. (Before I kill what little life I have left). History also has shown what we are seeing now. Successful season, wheels fall off at the end. Usually we haven’t followed up a “successful” season with another.

I think you’d have to agree though that if in 2022 you knew that going into year 4 UM was going to require a roster overhaul via the portal, we might have gone a different way with the HC hire. There was a coach whose name rhymes with Smiffen who was available and stacks his rosters via the portal.

When he was getting everything he needed at Oregon, it was a lot easier.

I didn’t use to by into that. But, with all of the talent, he would still lost games to Cal, Stanford and Utah.

Lanning doesn’t lose to **** teams. Mario does.

It’s just a proven reality at this point. I am scared ****less after a bye week. It’s pathetic
