Simeon Barrow big hit

Tyler Barron-I mean he chased stats late, but he had a career year here. He also was our best pass rusher vs. Syracuse, he should have played more. Solid hit

Fransciso Mauigoa-Two time All ACC 2nd team LB, and led Miami in tackles 2 years in a row. Has limitations but this was really good grab in portal

Meesh Powell-All ACC 2nd team, led us in INTs, played out of position, but he was a good portal grab

C.J. Clark-started playjng very well late as snaps increased

Jaylen Alderman-looked heavy, if could lose 8-12 pounds by next season could be really productive at LB

Marley Cook-hurt too much

Dyoni Hill-meh

Elijah Alston-started strong, injury derailed season. Wish he could come back

He didn’t get a single elite player on defense last year. Very skeptical it finally happens now. Miami will get a good players but no game changers.
We won’t know yet till they hit the field. When I say elite I’m thinking first round grade or lock

Good morning

I guess we just don’t agree because Miami has historically done less with more talent. We constantly play down to the level of inferior teams like.MTSU
Way to dance around what I responded too. LOL

Haynes king looked to be much healthier against Georgia , he basically was unable to throw against us & they put the TF backup in every throwing situation n we still couldn’t stop em for gods sake. If King was healthy i guarantee u it would’ve been MUCH worse for our defense.
They still ran for almost 300 yards on UGA. Oh but that doesn't count I guess. LOL

This is what is maddening…Spent all that money, they were all "hits" to varying degrees and we basically went down with

33 Martinez snaps
15 Baron snaps
Taking the ball out of Ward's hands and kicking a ridiculously stupid FG

Barrow only played 30 something snaps as well but his may have been due to injury.

My point is we played a handicapped version of them n still couldn’t win…. they stood no chance against UGA if king couldnt throw it makes their offense 10X as dangerous….King went 26/36 300+ yards n 2TDs passing against UGA’s defense I don’t even wanna think about what the Box score would’ve looked like if he was healthy against us.

top of my head, maybe 5 of those hit the defensive portal last year. All SEC or BIG.

Miami was in the mix for one of them, which was Barrow’s teammate Harmon who ended up at Oregon.
