In that scenario, I still think we get in so long as we don’t get boat raced. Small chance that happens.

And if we’re getting boat raced by SMU, we probably don’t deserve to be in.

I just want to shut a lot of media people up. Winning the ACC basically leaves no doubt and forces the media folks who feel like we are overrated to STFU because you can’t deny us in that scenario.

If we lose to Syracuse or SMU you open the Pandora’s box of talking heads going on and on about how we are not worthy of a CFP spot at 10-2 and creating fake scenarios like, “If UM played in the SEC this season what would there record be? 7-5? 6-6?” and all that other crap. Let’s end any doubt and close this thing out. Plus we would never live it down if we let SMU win the ACC title over us in year 1 in the conference leaving us with still never having won it.

Yeah, but let’s beat the Ponies and watch Cam have a standout game.

Guidry has the next two games to restore his reputation. Yesterday helped. Let’s see if he can shut down Syracuse AND Rhett Lashlee in the space of two weeks.

That might shut some people up.

Usc v Clemson is a play in game. Winner looking at last in or first out

We get to champ v smu and both are 11-1. Both make it.

Not sure how b10 champ shakes out, but they look to have 4 unless an upset this weekend

Sec looks like 3 on paper, but if aTm surprises Tejas, it may actually benefit conference.

Just my hungover thoughts

Never underestimate the committee’s biases. Root for A&M to beat Texas next weekend. Then it’ll look good provided we beat Cuse and lose a tight one to SMU (we should win that game). And root for USC over ND.

Texas would be 10-2 with their best wins coming against Michigan and Vandy. That’s a resume that doesn’t hold as much weight.

The biggest winners today were Indiana and Tennessee, then the ACC as an honorable mention.

Root for Texas to beat A&M. Texas is already in at 10-2 and if you get A&M into the SEC title game, they have a shot to steal a bid bc UGA is already in if they beat GT.

Imo after the last 2 games cam won’t win the heisman. Hunter is probably going to win

I just dont like the idea of being punished for being in a championship game and losing, while those other teams have the week off and can benefit from that. If you are in the top 12 already and lose your championship game, I still think you should get in.
 
Ideally, this is the game for our pass rush to show up. McCord can make throws but he will get pouty and rattled if he starts getting hit and moved around. See the Pitt game. If our front plays like that, he will take some sacks and turn the ball over a couple of times and that will be all she wrote.

I would expect Syracuse to have some successful drives but there should be some bad mixed in.
