Stay tuned

That was for HC....I don't give af if he does handstands dressed in Bozo attire this time around....

I hear ya.

I just think we need to put a premium on coaching "fit" this time around, and I'm not sure Mullen "fits". Unless Mario is setting up the Nick Saban Memorial School for Football Coaching Rehab - South Campus...and Mullen wants to humbly enroll for a couple of years...

I totally see what you’re saying. I think one of the issues this year, which has been discussed fairly extensively on the site, is coaching staff cohesion. If you don’t have that, you can have dysfunction instead of results.

Exactly. It's a fair discussion. Mullet could be great on "scheme", he could be poison on "getting along with others". Hard to know exactly what you'd get. I don't think anyone has completely **** on him as far as pure playcalling ability.

My expectations is what I’m confident will happen. I haven’t said anything unrealistic. We’ll have a good amount of flips , we’ve already had some since I posted that and more to come. Short term and long. I also said it’ll be a good finish , maybe better than I originally thought. Anybody that knows how I do things knows I’m conservative with my posts. For multiple reasons.

With this week I said two commits was likely. One would be a surprise. I’m half way home. There’s so many guys in play that it could be more but I’m posting what I know , not hearsay. This stuff changes fast.

Which is why Mario will have to give the next OC some authority in bringing on the coaches. OC gets to pick 1-2 coaches he wants on staff and hopefully, have ties to the others. My guess is that this next OC will be de facto QBC and want to bring in his WRC and maybe even TEC. Kevin Smith and Mirabal (don't think he'll be an issue) will have to get on board.

Herman or Mullen wouldn't run a offense Mario wants to run, both could probably get head coaching jobs at smaller schools if they want rather then being a OC somewhere.

Was the surprise Collins?

One problem We don’t have a single dude that can run what he does and the one that can handle the running portion is 3x worse than Emory is at passing.
TVD is just as athletic as Trask was. That’s the difference between Mullen and Gattis. Mullen can adapt to what he has at his disposal, while Gattis keeps trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.

Mullen should see TVD (assuming he stays) as Trask 2.0, with Arroyo and Skinner combining to approach Pitts’ output. Combine that with the projected speed and varied skill sets that our current and potential incoming RBs and WRs, and there should be enough material to at least pique Mullen’s interest.
TVD to Trask is actually a great comp

Agreed. Would seemingly be an ideal spot for Don Mullins. And we probably could get that weirdo's severe scoliosis finally treated at UHealth from some of the spine docs that work on the paralysis research.
Does UHealth have a psych department where Mrs Mullet could get treatment for her fetish for kissing young football players?

Mario needs to stop with that "It's my offense, or none"....that sh*t needs to stop. If this yr doesn't tell him he needs a new offensive philosophy...then nothing will.

Hahaha. That's such a severe case that it'll involve treatment from someone that's both a clinician and an academic.

"So show me on the doll where you like to touch the ninos, Senora Mullins."

I don't think that is a good point in Dan's favor. It took me all of 5 seconds to see Trask was a better qb. He had him sitting on the sidelines for 2 years because Mullen wants running qb's. Wasted a superior qb talent to play his system. Sound familiar?
