I'll be upset as **** if he doesn't pick us, but I will absolutely disembowel myself with a rusty cheese grater if he picks nutter shame.

Meh. 6 in one hand, half dozen in the other. There was an article that came out a few days ago that said the FLA coaches got the vibe that he was going to UM after he left the weekend visit. And that GA was running second. So what does that mean? That NOBODY knows but Sony. And he isnt tellin anybody. UGA can come out with 1000 stories about how Sony is theres and its all lies. They dont know. Look at the Dalvin Cook situation? Who would have thought that? FLA? That came out of NOWHERE. (I still dont think that commitment will stick btw). Dont spend the next 17 days killin urself. Dont let this be another MT situation.

If we lose Sony then we lose Sony. I don't think he is better than Duke. I really like Yearby and I'm sure if he doesn't pan out, Golden & Crew will have a nice supplement for him. With the O Line that we will have blocking for our RBs, we will have alot of Running Backs looking like Heisman candidates. I got took on the Alex fiasco and not riding that funbus again. If we can hold on to him great...if not, the Golden Train keeps trucking along.

If he picks UGA over the U we can't blame the coaches. We have had the full court press on him since he was in 8th grade. That means he thinks playing at UGA is a better option than playing at Miami, which in my opinion sucks even more than if the coaches just dropped the ball. I'm really hoping that all of this is a smoke screen and he throws up the U

NOBODY KNOWS ****!

It will be a loooong 2 weeks for some of you fools.

When was the last time we heard from Sony's cousin or who ever it is that posts on here?

Who am I kidding, if he picks UGA...something expensive will be getting broke in my house. **TRUE STORY***

The story about Sony's brother does check out, check out this blurb from a website that covers the UMass team:

"According to multiple media outlets, including MassLive.com and the Daily Hampshire Gazette, three different players who started games last season – wide receiver Marken Michel and offensive linemen Jamie Casselberry and Michael Boland – have left the program for different reasons, which UMass coach Charley Molnar confirmed Tuesday.

Michel’s younger brother Sony is a junior in high school who is a five-star running back recruit and holds scholarship offers from elite college football programs such as Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Notre Dame, according to his Rivals.com profile. Both the Gazette and MassLive.com reported that there is a rumor circulating in which the schools recruiting Sony are also trying to lure Marken away from UMass in an attempt to bring the two in as a package."

My buddy's Dad coached at Heritage until last year. He was all over Sony since 8th grade telling us about him. He is a Gator alum and wanted him at UF badly, but conceded him to Miami and kept saying the kid was 100% Hurricane and would never go anywhere else. Hopefully that hasn't changed in the year since he left the school. On the other hand, we've seen how far being a kid's dream school has gotten us recently.

It's hard to believe he would leave the state. I always thought he would go to Miami or FSU. South Florida kids don't typically choose UGA when given the options of the Big 3 instate schools..

The **** I can't blame the coaches. He's been wanting to come here since the 8th grade, if he doesn't want to come here, then something got messed up along the way. This whole idea that Golden is perfect in regards to recruiting is ridiculous.

So if Sony felt in love with UGA, it's Golden fault? Makes perfect sense.

You're right. Golden should hold a gun to the kid's head.:ohlord:
