So Sony visits GA a couple of times, visits Miami every chance he gets and he chooses GA because he feels more comfortable there? Why in **** would he keep visiting Miami if he knew he was committing to GA? That makes no sense.

One explanation is because he said "no matter where I go to school, I'll always be a Cane fan" which continues to bother me. Hope this is just one of the silly things kids say that means nothing. (Dammit. There I go trying to make sense of recruiting. I keep telling myself I'll stop that.)

That may just be that I will always be a Canes fan lol. It can be that god forbid i don't go to UM for whatever reason i will always love UM

After tomorrow, I pray to God, if we have 4 of the top OL in the country commited to this program alongside one of the top RB in the entire country as well, Sony better hop on board. This team is going places with or without him. And if he does hop on board, which I full believe will happen, we will just straight up **** all over other team's faces.

Would be the biggest recruiting loss in recent memory.

Must. Not. Lose.

No that was MT6

then before that it what Patrick Johnson

then before that it was Antone Smith...
lol

If he comes cool if not we will find another guy.

WTF are you talking about? It´s not "cool". We lost those kids you mention and plenty more, and in that time period have been mediocre at best. It is not "cool" to the lose the best recruits in your backyard.

We lost because our coaching was on par with Pop Warner Football. I'd like to punch Larry Coker & Randy Shannon in the throat!

Easy answer. He had himself convinced for several years that he was all Cane. That is, until he visited Athens. Let's just say, he fell in love with Athens and experienced something he never felt before in CG. In fact, he felt it twice - each time he went to Athens. That threw him for a loop b/c he didn't think anywhere outside of CG would be the fit. He kept going back to CG to visit, hoping he would experience that same kind of euphoria that he did at Athens but he never does.

/just sayin'

Is this your hypothetical rendering of the situation? It's truly poetic

It is hypothetical -merely putting a (very legit) theory out there w/r/t fastcane's question

This thread was created way too early. Can you really stress over this player for 3 weeks?

Because there is nobody to challenge Bama and LSU... Every college in the country try to recruit South Florida.

McDermott and Gibbons both gave their verbals at pressers..

Sony has a big announcement set up, too. Is Golden drumming up buzz this way?
