SMU schedule

The bye is going to be far more preferable.

The 5-12 teams will need to beat 4 top 12 opponents over the span of 4 weeks or so. I guarantee It will almost never happen, and seeds 1 through 4 will win the whole thing just about every year, similar to the FCS playoffs
But 1-4 will be the best teams. Doesn’t account for an outlier who could be the best of all.

Thank you, brotha!!

Okay, honestly I like Miami ACC schedule over the other two. Clemson has Wake Forest, Stanford, NC State, FSU and Virginia

We got Wake Forest, FSU and Cal

SMU got FSU, Stanford, Cal and Virginia
Fsu is out. We all play them.

Jesus, I am definitely up too late I can’t read anymore. (In all fairness, I am a stroke survivor who gets seizures, so I should not be trying to converse after watching so much tv today!) Thank you for correcting me, and good night! 😴

Are bowl games done? Does anyone else play? Do the players play or sit?

No way anyone in the playoffs sits. Or do they?

False

A 1 loss Miami team makes the playoff

TrumpyCane did the math

Oh yeah, it never hit me that we can miss the ACCCG and still make the playoffs with one loss. It'll be an interesting conversation among the super conferences

Cal not having a FG kicker to beat NC St and Pitt has hurt us.

Let's look at SMU ACC schedule against teams we don't play.

(6-7)
Stanford 1-3
UVA 2-2
BC 1-2
Pitt 2-0

Our schedule vs teams SMU doesn't play

(8-6)
Gt 3-2
VT 2-1
Cuse 2-1
Wake 1-2

As you can see we want the teams we play to win against the teams they play. Example. We want Cuse to beat Pitt this Thursday
