SMU schedule

I think they win out and that will be enough to make the playoff, even if they don't make the championship game. Their 3 point loss to BYU looks better every week.

We're also in the playoff with one loss. ACC sends 3 teams this year.

Disagree. We shall see

I say it with confidence

Cal not having a FG kicker to beat NC St and Pitt has hurt us.

Let's look at SMU ACC schedule against teams we don't play.

(6-7)
Stanford 1-3
UVA 2-2
BC 1-2
Pitt 2-0

Our schedule vs teams SMU doesn't play

(8-6)
Gt 3-2
VT 2-1
Cuse 2-1
Wake 1-2

As you can see we want the teams we play to win against the teams they play. Example. We want Cuse to beat Pitt this Thursday

Yep, Cal kicking game is so bad that in their opening TD against Pitt, they went for a 2 point conversion instead of just kicking the extra point. This was in the first quarter!!! They didn't get the 2 points and that came back to bite them at the end. Cal might miss a bowl cause of their kicking game

Anyway, we both hope I’m right 👍

100 percent, for the record I want you to be right. I hope we see the SMU team from the Nevada to BYU games. They were awful but then that TCU game woke them up

Didn’t AcC set them up with an easy schedule cause they are new?

Their schedule might be one of the weakest in the county.

No Miami, No Clemson, no Va Tech.

Only team left that might challenge them is Pitt. These dudes about to walk into the AcC with a sorry *** team
Have you looked at our schedule? At least Pitt is undefeated and ranked. Miami will not a play a ranked opponent in the regular season unless Syracuse is ranked at the end of the year when we play them

I don’t think the ACC expected them to beat FSU during schedule time.

ACC records vs teams each team plays this year, all 8 opponents, I did it fast, could be off a little
think all the games had ended

One thing I’m trying to figure out in this tiebreaker scenario is if the criteria is based upon the ACC opponents’ total record or is it based upon their ACC record? The language is a bit vague. I know it’s based upon the strength of the opponent, but just not sure if that strength is measured purely on record w/in the conference or the entirety of said opponents’ seasons.
