SMU schedule

I want what you guys are smokin
SMU plays Duke, Pitt, BC, Virginia, Cal
They can lose any one of those. I think they lose two.

Outside of Pitt, SMU will beat all of those teams easily by 15 plus points. Maybe BC can give them a tough game if they stop f'ing themselves up

the bright side is we will be top 5 if we are 12-0, so we are in playoffs if we didnt get the tie breaker, but lose out on the bye
Yes.
ACCCG loser would be out
We would probably be an 8 seed behind BIG2 and SEC3.

yep, they have best record. but we are better than SMU
what are you talking about?

did you run the math on opponent win %?

I agree we're better than SMU, but beating better than them doesn't matter in the scenario we're talking about. if their ACC opponents have a better win % than our opponents then we get left out

If its us vs SMU

Its
Vtech, Syracuse, Gatech, Wake vs Pitt, BC, UVA, Stanford rest of year and we have 1.5 game lead

i hope SMU wins out

clemson will drop a game, they have Louisville, VT, and Pitt coming up - one of those teams will get them

us vs SMU and all those Miami transfers in the aCC championship game would be great - would also be hilarious to see clemson not make it to that game. I also trust our talent advantage over SMU more so hope that comes to fruition

ACC VS ACC only.

Thank you, brotha!!

Okay, honestly I like Miami ACC schedule over the other two. Clemson has Wake Forest, Stanford, NC State, FSU and Virginia

We got Wake Forest, FSU and Cal

SMU got FSU, Stanford, Cal and Virginia

12-0 with home game.
13-0 with bye
12-1 with a what? Do we even get in?

This is a bird in the hand question.

12-0 with a home game looks mighty nice.

Go 12-0, we play in ACC for a bye or have a home playoff game round 1

The bye is going to be far more preferable.

The 5-12 teams will need to beat 4 top 12 opponents over the span of 4 weeks or so. I guarantee It will almost never happen, and seeds 1 through 4 will win the whole thing just about every year, similar to the FCS playoffs
