ACC VS ACC only.Ahh gotcha. So is it only the ACC record or the overall record?
A lot of the ACC teams on our schedule are about to beat each other up
I want what you guys are smokin
SMU plays Duke, Pitt, BC, Virginia, Cal
They can lose any one of those. I think they lose two.
yep, they have best record. but we are better than SMUbut clemson doesn't play cal so it's hurting us in comparison vs them
I think what they’re saying is that if we don’t make ACC championship we might still make playoff, but wouldn’t get first round bye.Our bye would be the week before. During ACC champ week.
Yes.the bright side is we will be top 5 if we are 12-0, so we are in playoffs if we didnt get the tie breaker, but lose out on the bye
what are you talking about?yep, they have best record. but we are better than SMU
assuming playoffs start week after ACC champ game. We would get a bye. Just the week before everyone else.I think what they’re saying is that if we don’t make ACC championship we might still make playoff, but wouldn’t get first round bye.
Well done.If its us vs SMU
Its
Vtech, Syracuse, Gatech, Wake vs Pitt, BC, UVA, Stanford rest of year and we have 1.5 game lead
they were ahead so started with SMUWell done.
But Clemson has the toughest remaining schedule.
ACC VS ACC only.
Go 12-0, we play in ACC for a bye or have a home playoff game round 1
All we control is the 12 games on the scheduleThe bye is going to be far more preferable.
The 5-12 teams will need to beat 4 top 12 opponents over the span of 4 weeks or so. I guarantee It will almost never happen, and seeds 1 through 4 will win the whole thing just about every year.
