SMU schedule

If that’s the case SMU is left out between Us, SMU and Clemson due to Clemson/Miami having a tougher strength of schedule.

Especially if Miami is undefeated and Clemsons loss is UGA.

But that begs the question…what are the odds a 11-1 SMU team, who’s only loss could be to the Big12 Champ, sneaks into the CFP?

Odds are really slim but there’s a potential scenario the ACC gets 3 teams in
Initial tie breakers are conference games/schedules.

If our non-common conference opponents end up with a lesser record than Clemson’s and SMU’s then we would be left out of the ACC CG.

Doesn't help when you have a solid Gators team thats going thru a dooms day schedule with Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss and LSU coming up

I think Clemson will drop a game. They got Va Tech, Louisville, etc someone will get them IMO

Flawed as we are Miami will walk in because all our hard games are behind us
Think Tim Robinson GIF by NETFLIX

It comes down to strength of schedule, so we'd need teams like VT to win out.
and cal isn't doing us any favors

I think IF that scenario were to play out, we would be the team left out

the fact that the tiebreaker is opponents win % is completely BS, ranking in AP poll should be the decision
