Upvoted.Kids today don't remember when Miami was great. Kids want to win and that is why Miami doesn't get great players. If Miami wants to get back to pulling 5 star players, start winning.
To add, in the 80s and 90s growing up in Philly, besides pro football (predominantly Eagles with some Giant and Cowgirl turncoats from Philly), if ANY college football team I have seen repped in philly it was Penn State or MIAMI. That's all you seen, mainly in the hood in Philly was a lot of Miami Starter button ups or pullovers. They remember Miami DOMINANCE.
Funny parallel, I seen a post that miami went and gave young black men a chance to a college education and showcase their talents to America. Temple basketball was that team in the 80s and early 90s. But Temple decided to put their $$$ into their medical program (funny, huh) and kids started going to UNC, Duke, boring *** Syracuse, etc. The problem is the administration. When the admin decides to invest more into the athletic department, you will see a culture change. You can make the hires you wanna make. You can have the adequate amount of money for recruiting trips and for offender extra incentives to compete in recruiting.
