We lose to inferior Duke, GT and Virginia this year. Then we have the audacity to wonder why the recruits “disrespect the U” and go to elite programs. We don’t need 5 stars to beat Virginia. We need good coaching. Start winning the games that we’re supposed to and then we’ll consistently land these 5 stars and compete for titles.

How the **** can we win if they don't come in the first place? Want to become sick to your stomach? Sit down and comprise a list of all the local kids who spurned Miami the last 10-15 years. We'd probably have 10 NC's by now, no joke. What needs to happen is this: When these kids return to Miami like, "Wassssup, we all good right?", we need to turn our backs on them and loudly say, "Nah, it AIN'T all good bruh." We should have zero respect for these dudes and make our feelings well known. You like Athens so much then go live there, permanently, because you aren't welcome here anymore. Listen again, if they win they will come! How can we lose to UVA, GTU, PITT, Wisconsin (twice), BC in the last two years and have kids be interested in The U? The cloud gave higher level kids an "excuse" to escape pressure to stay home. Once kids started seeing they don't need to stay at bay to make it to the league, it became a trend. There's no more loyalty. Luke kept running his mouth Lamar bashed us. Ice sent Treon to UF. Chad turned coated.

It can be attainable again, but Manny is gonna have to play it smart, dirty, and rely on some luck to get the train going again.

And UGA finished 7-5 Smart first year with a two point win over Samford and a loss to Vanderbilt , after winning 10 games the season before , doesn’t exactly scream greatness .
They are winning now because they were able to land 5 stars despite that . Apparently we have to consistently win 10 games or more to do that .

Agreed on the comment about FSU. I’d rather Miami and FSU be battling each other for titles than watching these fraud SEC schools.

There’s now been a full generation of top players from South Florida that have been bought and paid for by the SEC. At the beginning when we were on top, the Dwayne Bowes and Ricky Jean Francois were supposedly going there for “playing time”. How come that hasn’t applied to Miami these last ten years? The sad part is that this fraudulent system has now enabled Bama to match (and likely surpass) our accomplishments in the 80s-00s, and the worst part is that they’re doing it featuring Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, and Jerry Jeudy. Meanwhile Saban couldn’t do jack at Michigan State. The whole thing is really such a joke that it makes me wonder why I should even bother any more. I just hope those clowns plan on spending their post-football careers outside of South Florida because at this point, I feel like all of these traitors should be viewed with the same disdain as Nevin Shapiro.

We did have kids come here for playing time, we signed a monster 18 class and were in position to land a possible top 10 class even with SFLA being down this year. What happened was being embarrassed on national TV against LSU, losing 4 straight against some ACC scrubs like Duke at home, posting likely the most embarrassing offense ever seen in P5, and getting worked by Wiscy for the second straight year in a row for the bowl game.
The Miami brand is on life support because of Miami and not because of bags. Sure bags are a factor but why do people just ignore the more obvious things like I listed? Lastly, Miami natives care about UM that much, they care about themselves, and as they should. How many of those kids that went to the SEC didn’t make the right decision, instead of playing for our circus row of HCs.

who never see the field.Yes,many are redshirts,walk ons,etc.But let's two look at
of the thirty;Dysktra and Hillery.They will never see the field because incoming
frosh are better than they are.So they take up a scholarship, they provide no
competition on the field and they take away a scholarship from someone with
a chance to compete.
