Seniors pre-season draft stock

After last years debacles when it came to people predicting where our players would be drafted I will lay low but I will say that I expect Howard to stay around until his senior year and sneak into the 2nd round. Speed or no speed if he has two straight years of lockin' cats down, he will go in the early rounds. Dorsett is a guy that someone will take a chance on in the 3rd round with that speed. You cant teach that kind of speed at any level.

Other then that, I have no opinion other then to say that Flowers is overrated on this board. You got people sayin he is a top 10-15 pick. I didnt see that last year.

Flowers has 1st rd talent........

i dont know about top 15...but hes a kid that even with a bad year wont slide pass the 2nd rd. His film is legit, and he has a good work ethic...

Flowers i compare to Brandon Albert....maybe more athletic though

If Brandon Harris can get drafted in the 2nd and DVD in the 3rd than Howard, who is better than both, should be considered to be in 1-3 round draft range leaning more towards late 1st /early second .
what do you think Howard's 40 time is?

Probably the same or better than your vaunted gator secondary last year.
Didn't they all pretty much run a 4.5-4.6 at the combine?
And where are they going in the draft? I can promise you it wont be in the first round.

Not what you said before the season.
You were touting them all as potential 1st rounders.

This is the problem with pre season draft predictions.
You never know which players' lights will come on.
Manziel was an unknown, except to his family, then went on to become Steve Young.

I will wait on draft predictions until the end of the season to see the body of work.

I like comparing flowers to Trent Williams. Both 6-5, 6-6, 290-300+ in college who have great frames and who are very agile for their size

I dont care what light comes on for Tracy he is too slow to go in the first round. You can wait but this thread is about making them before seeing the full body of work

they have 2 guys from fsu....that alone tell me its fu-fu. Pj Williams is legit, but Darby aint warranted that high, thats just cause they won an mnc.
Their will be guys popping up all over @ cb.

Darby is good. Teams really didnt throw at him and he still had 4 or 5 ints. Teams threw at pj williams more than they did darby. Hurns beat williams a couple times and i believe he was covering coley when he beat him deep twice

I think TH3 can go 1st round. Richard Sherman (my frat bro), didn't have a spectacular 40 time. He clocked between 4.54-4.64....BUT the boy can cover his butt off. If TH3 shows great cover skills and become a lock down defender, he will get picked high. We play every week on ESPN so he's going to get National exposure. You don't need to be a burner at DB; yes it helps, but how many fast DBs flopped? If he has great technique, he can become a 1st-2nd round pick.

Anyone predicting Howard in the 1st or 2nd round is way off base.

I love his skill set and his mental make up - he's come in and visibly improved year on year.

You just have to watch the Spring Camp highlights to see that he's going to be limited in the NFL though. Dorsett absolutely torched him with his speed. Whilst Philip does have elite speed, that's less of a rare thing in the NFL.

Dorsett's stock goes up because of the Don Stacy Coley. Dorsett and the rest of our guys will finally overachieve because we finally have a legit #1 guy, and aren't asking #2 and #3 guys to be something they are not.

Flowers shows flashes of elite potential, but I dare say he needs a to show more consistency before I put him in the leagues of Brandon Albert.

Sherman is 6'3" though.
