Seniors pre-season draft stock

(Right now) Flowers still gets beat around the edge too much to be a top-15 pick. He's still got time though.

I actually think Gunter, if he has a good season has a chance! He's long, and comes up hard on the run. If he runs a good forty he could do ok in the draft.

Gunter is slow prolly would be best for him to play safety.

For all the talk about this staff not "developing" players, seems like it will be the staff to help start a brand new 1st round draft streak.

Like i said on page 3 Looking at walter football camp they have 6 cbs in the 1st round and tracy isnt 1 of them.

Based on their picks they have
1.pj williams fsu
2.ronald darby fsu
3.jalen collins lsu
4.ifo ekpre-olumu oregon
5.trae waynes michigan st.
6.alex carter stanford

they have 2 guys from fsu....that alone tell me its fu-fu. Pj Williams is legit, but Darby aint warranted that high, thats just cause they won an mnc.
Their will be guys popping up all over @ cb.

I think FSU finishing with the #1 pass defense 2 years in a row has more to do with it...

I think TH3 can go 1st round. Richard Sherman (my frat bro), didn't have a spectacular 40 time. He clocked between 4.54-4.64....BUT the boy can cover his butt off. If TH3 shows great cover skills and become a lock down defender, he will get picked high. We play every week on ESPN so he's going to get National exposure. You don't need to be a burner at DB; yes it helps, but how many fast DBs flopped? If he has great technique, he can become a 1st-2nd round pick.

"You don't need to be a burner at db"

I think Mike Rumph would disagree with you, as would the hundreds of 4.5 db's not named Sherman who didn't last more than a couple years in the NFL.

Technique is very important, but when that WR gets a step on you, and he will get a step on you, makeup speed becomes critical.

Tracy is not a 4.3-4.4 guy and he's not 6'3" 4.5 guy. He is a shutdown corner in college, but so was Mike Rumph.

I'm hoping Tracy picks off 10 this year, gets drafted in the 2nd to 3rd round and plays 10 years making 30-40 Million in career earnings.

Seems like a good kid and he's a Cane.

The average 40 for a CB in the NFL is in the 4.5's. Anything above that and i think you have to be an exceptional cover guy.

Brought to you by B.C Bud

Howard won't sniff 10 picks. Why would any O.C. throw deep when his QB can throw for 5 bills over the middle every single pass.

Canucks and Rangers are on I'm out
