Senior Bowl Reports

According to various media reports this week, our boys aren't helping themselves in Mobile. Unflattering reports on Morris, plus Atlanta paper ran a list this morning of 5 most impressive and 5 least impressive players (Falcons staff is coaching in the game). Henderson made the least impressive list and it was mentioned that, along with his play, he didn't pass their character test.

This is from a Detroit paper . . .

Negatives

Seantrel Henderson had more issues today. I counted three false starts not long into practice. He also got burned around the edge by a Trent Murphy speed rush when getting to aggressive with his feet and not staying patient in his pass set. Inconsistent as ever.

Henderson’s partner in crime Brandon Linder had a couple of poor reps. He’s still struggling with pad level and bending at the waist. He was unable to anchor a bullrush after giving up his chest on one occasion, getting dumped for an easy “sack”.

- Realize when teams coach these alls tar games alot of times they "leak" out b.s. ON prospects they like just cause....they dont wanna tip their hat on who they like.

ATL staff sucks anyways so i could care less what they have to say...and second their in need of ol..and aint fooling any body.

More than Likely their interested in Henderson at some point of the draft..if they can drop him down a few levels they **** sure will..

These supposed reports most time are b.s. i take it with some interest but it isnt an end all....

trust your eyes...watched Henderson for years here...aganst some pretty good comp and he for the most part held his own from jump.

Ok, that explains it.

I never liked the rotating OL deal. It's one of the dumber things I've seen because the starters have a hard time building blocking chemistry when a new guy is next to them every few plays. I also feel like Golden or whoever is making decisions for the OL is putting guys in position to fail. I still look back at the Brandon Washington situation. The kid went from being a projected 1st - 2nd round guard and Golden moved him to tackle where he failed (not horribly, but it was obvious he was not comfortable at tackle). Golden loves putting square pegs in round holes.

Henderson and Linder both starting next to each other right now in sr bowl....

Dont know how bad they sucked in practices but were good enough to start today i guess...paying close attention to them...so far Linder looked good...Seantrel gave up a bit of pressure on third down.

-Seantrel with a good game solidifies @ least a third rd grade imo...

-Kid likely looks great @ combine...

-Main issues...consistency...and being a STONER A STONER A STONER....

* Whole first series Linder looked pretty good stonewalling guys right now.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Linder has a 10 year NFL career

Always thought in didnt matter where he gets drafted....that he is a legit nfl player long term.

He has too much tools, at worst like stated he is long term solid back up for somebody.

No surprise w/ the season we had when what should be the best tackle in America and QB underwhelm all year long. Don't get me wrong the coaching had its deficiencies, but good riddance to these two. Bring on the youth...

Linder reminds me of Chris Meyers, I never would have believed that Meyer would be in the leagues as long as he has.

Lets rip Morris for a 3 and out when he threw a perfect ******* out route on first down that would've been near a first down that was dropped. Jesus. What kind of fan hopes an alum fails?

Morris makin the same mistakes he did here

Under throwing and not reading the defense

The kid has all the physical tools but he doesnt have the mental tools

Henderson looked great against Warner and Tuitt last year. His problem has been consistency.
