Riley Williams Portal

Nothing to do with defending Mario, you are just always looking for reasons to attack Mario. This is about a kid making a strange decision (if the grandfather's comment was truly the reason) because playing time and targets are exactly what he'll be getting next year, yet he claims its what he wants and the reason he's leaving. Nothing to do with Mario, and in fact a strange, illogical decision that kids make on teams all around the country.

Attrition and roster management lies with the head coach. Always has. May be a good decision for the player, may not. No need to create a negative rhetoric around him leaving to defend the machine.

Coaches need to go upgrade the position. Simple.

No, bottom line is players make strange decisions everywhere. If Williams grandfather's comments are actually true, the kid is complaining about lack of playing time and targets after playing behind a more explosive, NFL quality player, and this coming season he would have gotten more playing time and targets. Especially without a Cam Ward type at QB who always looked to throw downfield vs using TE check downs more frequently. You see that silliness in programs across the country....impatience by the player, and then when they move on it's right when they would have been getting what they are asking for anyway. Pointing that out has zero to do with defending Mario

IMO, Williams is a dumbass for leaving now. He was about to have a breakout year. But if he isn’t happy with the team or sick of living in Florida, he only gets one life and it’s his to live.

What I don’t understand is why there’s supposedly a lot of work to do to land a quality TE from the portal if coaches knew this was a real possibility the past few weeks.

You seem personally upset about my comment about people defending Mario. Did I call you out for it?

I agree with you that players make curious decisions around the country. If the staff was aware of this decision, it is on that staff to fill the roster accordingly.

If the staff reduced playing time to the detriment of this team because players may portal out as has been mentioned once or twice based on a few snap counts, then they are not built for major college football in 2024.

None of this has much, if anything, to do with creating a negative rhetoric around Williams now when it wasn’t remotely hinted at previously.

Do you remember when Baghdad Bob was saying that the United States was lying about being in Baghdad and our troops were only down the street from him lol
Yeah man Lol. Remember the videos with Iraqi “baby milk factory” shirts on people working in what became a bombed out chemical weapons facility? 🤣

Respectfully disagree.
All teams are losing kids to the they shouldn't lose.
Noticed that Notre Dame hasn’t lost many starters - could be because of the very academically focused type kids they recruit - where the kids commit to get the degree just as much as they commit to play high level football.

No, you just always find a reason to pretend something is Marios fault or someone is defending him when it has nothing to do with him. You are obsessed. I bet you blame Mario when you stub your toe or lose a sock in the laundry

Roster management. Recruiting. Wins. Loses. All are related to the head coach.

Fans obsessed with their team and/or school's success -- sounds about right. Not sure it needs to get to creating a negative rhetoric about a player we have not heard negatives about.

Pointing out a player made a stupid decision is not defending a coach. You aren't obsessed with the teams success, just whining

You responded to a comment about Mario's **** poor defense and have now commented on it half a dozen times whining and upset about a player making a business decision for themselves. It is CFB 2024 - he is not happy about his role or the role he was promised and is looking for other options. D$ apparently cited "non-football" reasons and his kin was not having that message spread out there from the Miami side.

I am sorry I upset you.

No, I commented on your idiotic claim that people were pointing out the bad decision making of Williams as somehow defending Mario, when Mario was not mentioned by anyone, because you feel the need to insert attacks on him into every post you make. Run along and cry about Mario.

I have definitely upset you. Keep up the strong defense work. I am sorry you have been triggered on a weekend before Christmas.

Its ok, you can also blame your erectile dysfunction on Mario too
You finding Mario arousing is not surprising. It is the tough & physical, isn't it? How you do anything, cowboy?

This isn't confession man...but Santa knows

Notre Dame gotta be on any top 5 list of Culty schools, feels like the kids that go there are wired different (going to benefit them in this new age I imagine). Them, Climpson, 8&4, Michigan, etc.

Marcus Freeman is also one **** of a human being. I think he got there a bit in over his head but I’ve met him before and heard him speak. It’s no surprise that the people that vibe with him stick with the “culture” for lack of a better word
