Scary.So you lose:
- Cam Ward
- Reese Poff
- Damien Martinez
- Ajay Allen
- Chris Johnson
- X Restrepo
- J George
- I Horton
- S Brown
- E Arroyo
- C McCormick
- Riley Williams
- J Rivers
- Z Carpenter
And we’ve added CJ Daniels.
And both are easily replaceable I’m sure snaps wise lofton was equal or more snaps than Williams on the season only reason our fans care about Williams leaving is because he was a 4 starCam caught like 6 passes all year and 3 were TDs lol. He came in and did what Riley apparently didn’t want to do which is the dirty work.
. But beefing this kid up to 265 and telling him to block every down when he came in as a great athletic line up anywhere weapon is bad player management.
He’s below average athlete for the position think about how many times we threw him tight end slip screens that arroyo killed on only for Williams to gain no yardage after the catchRiley isn’t a below average athlete, though. I don’t think it’s so much reps but how he was probably used. He played a lot but mostly used to block
Ward -> TBD Portal or Emory/Nickel CompSo you lose:

Yea and how many did Arroyo have last year?23 pages on a kid who had 7 catches all year?
its 2 sides, no one is objective, its sky is falling or nothing is bad.If Mario’s defense on the field was half as good as his defense on here, we’d be undefeated.
Trashing Williams in here without 1 word of any negativity for his entire time here.
Y’all are really something.
he was battling injuries and is a much better athlete.Yea and how many did Arroyo have last year?
Okay so maybe he's not as good as Arroyo but I think the had potential to be close and regardless he was gonna be TE1 and we have no depth there, so yea, it sucks.he was battling injuries and is a much better athlete.
it's not just 2 sides, its a spectrum from Terrible loss to whatever loss. Likely at most Riley would have been getting like 1/2 the starting snaps rotating with Lofton. So obviously not good to lose him. It's not a very bad loss though. It's impactful, cause I'd rather have him too. Losing him means we need to get a rotational TE in portal that can actually contribute. I think we would have been fine at TE this year with Lofton and Riley and Schott... maybe just getting a pure blocking TE3 in the portal for depth... But this has impacted that.its 2 sides, no one is objective, its sky is falling or nothing is bad.
Williams was a good player, that would have played a big role, he wasn't a superstar and isn't a huge loss, but would have rather had him going into year 3 for sure
they don't watch the games or pay attention, Ive read so many simple things the past few days, people have no clue who players are, when they played or not, I am not talking about opinions, just straight factshe was battling injuries and is a much better athlete.
Jackson Carver is still on the roster for what it's worth.Tough loss but just like Horton, not the end of the world. Kid was never gonna be what Arroyo was. Don’t get me wrong he flashed, but he’s not a game breaker. And if he didn’t wanna do the dirty work, he should leave. He wasn’t good enough to just be a receiving TE.
Lofton is in the Brevin mold and the guys coming in are good enough to catch passes. We’ll be fine. Add a veteran and move on.
Forgot about him. Hopefully he can step in and do what Williams didn’t wanna do.Jackson Carver is still on the roster for what it's worth.
You’re working overtime in here fighting the good fight. I’m working on an avatar for you.Dude it’s all in good fun. End of the day we all want the same thing and that’s for this program to succeed. Honestly sometimes I’m just breaking balls at a certain point
