I don't ******* get this at all. Of anybody on the team, Walford has maybe made the biggest jump here, and he has been solely coached by Carroll. That dude played HS football for like one year. Carroll pulled in Sandland. He got Coley. He's the national recruiting coordinator. It's like people love to hate the guy because they figure he can't coach and was just handed everything. Not true at all; the guy has been one of the best position coaches here and has proven to be an excellent recruiter. I think he's awesome and really hope we don't lose him. I see him as a coordinator in 3-4 years.

And I'm ok with that

So it has nothing to do with 3 straight trips to the state championship? Or coaching one of the consistently best HS teams in the nation?

I'd love something great to happen for Bennett because he's a UM hero after the Coley recruitment.

But I want the one with the most connections in S FL who is the best potential recruiter. Don't know which guy that is because I don't know either one personally.

I would think Miami Central's HC would have more connections in So FL than Northeast's HC.

He probably does. And if he does and Al thinks he's the best recruiter available, then he should be the guy.
