Got a lot of respect that for that guy and the career he's had in journalism but I dunno what you'd have in mind for him on the football staff unless it's one of those admin type roles where he collects names and things of that nature. He's pretty good where he's at.

Maybe because he has the two best RB's in the country next year on the same team which he has led to back to back state titles in the talent with the most football talent in the world.

Other than that I can't think of any reasons.

If you don't make Coley the RB corch and hire a guru as a QB corch, then you hire a MONSTER recruiter to corch the RBs. It's a recruiting position. Al needs to hire another mega recruiter, but he absolutely has to be a black guy.

If hiring Lockette assures us of getting Cook and other inner city kids, sign the man up!

I actually like Donnell Bennett. Turned around Northeast and former alum. I dont think he would have a problem recruiting the area.

I don't care who goes on a rant. You absolutely need more young black presence on this staff. I'd hire the biggest baddest black recruiting monster I could who is in his mid to late 20s. Doesn't necessarily have to be a guy who has done it before, but I'd have to know he had the energy and ability and connections to make it happen.

You could corch RBs. You think anyone's teaching Duke how to run the football? All you need to know is how to pick up the blocking schemes and teach them to the RBs. Any competent HS corch could pull that off.

this... Al better hire a black RB coach with ties in Florida that can recruit his *** off. The question is does that guy exist and can Miami afford him? You know who is a really good recruiter?
