Richardson gone, RB coach search Thread (Lockette, Bennett?)

I'd move Coley to RB corch and hire a real guru QB corch. Pretty sure the Soldinger ship has sailed. Dude's 100, and you don't need a technical expert at the RB corching gig. You need a monster recruiter there.

Some knucklehead tried to post this last night on Twitter! I was like are f'ing serious! The day before NSD! Really? Richardson is a great RB coach but I would love to see Soldinger back with Kehoe & Mario! Proven quality RB coach and string SoFla ties to the communities.

Arent those the guys that got lazy and entitled and didnt want to recruit, and helped us into this endless cylce of mediocrity? I would rather guys who have ambition and want to grow and advance. Guys that are content here dont really seem to work. Shoot, in my eyes kehoe already on the clock. He is bringing in projects when Stoutland showed you can get top talent to miami, and we better not under perform with these guys next year. I want to see some push on run plays

The assistant coaches work like the head coach does. If the head coach is lazy and entitled so will his assistants.

Alfred isn't lazy or entitled.

Yup. That is exactly what I would do. Move Coley to RB and then mind a real QB coach.

This was my thought as well. I would like to see someone with some name recognition at the QB coach spot.

Cristobal already turned down the pros once to come here, I doubt he would bail now.

Soldinger would be amazing. That's a guy who could take Danny Dillard and Gus Edwards and forge them in to steel hammers.

Wait, whut? Coley is the offensive coordinator, why would anyone suggest he coach RBs? Foolishness.

Solindger immediately comes to mind, but he's older and not sure if he gives one flip about recruiting. Guess we'll have to wait and see what Golden conjures up.

Anyone know if Tommie Robinson got let go by the Cards in their coaching shakeup? He did good work here.

I'd be ok with Soldy. We have a lot of strong recruiters, I'd like a few teachers. His recruiting pitch can show recruits a list of players who have played for him

He's OC and QB coach.

Foolishness to assume that OCs in college don't often coach a position too.

I agree with part of that... Coker is who I blame for the largest portion of that! Were they at fault? Sure but the Capt leads the ship! Golden will get the right person.

Yeah, they coach quarterbacks more often than not. I still don't see why the chirping for him to coach RBs. Does he have a background in it?
